You wonder if the same player will return after such a bad injury and long lay off. I suppose we will know after 2-3 games when he gets match fit.

Judging by what has been coming out of the camp he has done everything right & given himself the best chance of coming back healthy

This injury has ended careers before now so let's just hope he plays himself back into match fitness & the knee reacts well

I just hope that currie is not rushing back to try and prove fitness and form for the world cup. I could understand it if he is. Part of me was sort of hoping not to see him play again until next year for that reason.
I suppose you have to trust in the medical staff.
I don't get the calls for a ball playing loose forward. I think we played our best rugby (and 3 challenge cup finals) with a third prop at 13 - Ben Harrison.
I know it worked at Leeds with Sinfield but they had fullbacks like mathers and Brent Webb who were not ball playing full backs.

Our pack will struggle to compete with Wigans.

Harrison had decent hands as well though. Grix was a better 13 and he had great hands and was a better support runner. We looked better with grix at 13 than Harrison IMO.
