Salary cap is same across the three leagues afaik. Was increased last year in championship after Leigh pushed for promotion and streamlined in 2017.
No idea if cap is related to turnover, if it was, we do turn over more than 200% of cap.

| Sounds as though we will have a few players returning from injury this week according to the Guardian; Westwood, Pomeroy, Patton and Lineham. For the Wigan match Ben Currie should also be available.

| think the championship salary cap mirrors superleague so it will be £1.9m in 2018 as long as the true salary spend does not exceed 50% of the "relevant income"......what ever the RFL deem relevant is anybodies guess though..
But Seriously I can't see you being in any threat of not being in SL next year even if you have to play middle 8's

Haven't we spent a large part of the season already thinking that things will all be okay once so and so returns from injury, yet so far its never really made much difference?

If we don't solve the underlying cancerous malaise in the club we are down irrespective of whether he plays or not. Cast your mind back, remember when we were going to find form and string results together when Hill and Ratchford were back? How did that work out...

Currie is running and back doing light training so I think we should see him back around the end of July for the Middle 8's.
I'd like to say there's no way we would be relegated but there's a very real danger of it, Hull KR, London and Bradford could cause havoc on their day
Bradford, seriously at least have a look at the Champ table before making comments like that - every likelihood they will be relegated to Champ one.
As a Leigh fan I only see HKR as a threat - but a very serious one, M8s are going through me very interesting, shame it sounds as though it's going to be binned ongoing

Going down - are you serious?! just have a gander at the SL table. My club, Leigh, are below you and if anyone goes down, I can see it being us, the way we are losing to all and sundry around us in the table.
Unless TWO SL teams get relegated, of course!

Leigh, Widnes and Catalan are at least showing a bit of fight and even when they lose they're showing enough to suggest that they have a chance. Hull KR will be a threat to anyone, and I'm sure we'll be seen as a huge scalp for London, Featherstone, Toulouse or Halifax (whoever makes the 8s).
I'd like to think that when the reality of the situation hits the players, injured players come back and new players find their feet then we'll cruise through the middle eights, however if things don't change I can see us struggling to even make it into the MPG.
