Yes continuity plays a part for sure however the differance between Evans and Atkins is huge!!!!

Over 5 seasons Evans has made 79 apps and scored 34 trys having a very good season in 2014 scoring 19 of the 34 trys so over 4 years he has scored 15 trys in super league!! That's nothing to do with who he is playing with its just shockingly poor return for a centre in a side with aspirations of silverware!!

Atkins has played over the same period of time 148 games and scored 95 trys.
He too has had new wing partners and second rowers etc yet still manages to perform. Majority of criticism towards Atkins is his reluctance to pass the ball or when he does its not a great pass!! Evans is just not a good centre and we can try and find obscure reasons for it Keith senior would have scored and been at the top of his game even if he had the changes to playing staff we've had, to imply he was only so good because he had the same second row half back n winger for periods of time us hillarious!!!!

we have everything in place to be the leagues dominant side..... but were not.

so maybe not everything....
