With us being the better side these days, we are licking our lips at inflicting more misery on Wire in the coming derby. I expect a fairly straight forward win.[/quote:1d72a5qw][b:1d72a5qw]Wire 44 - 6 Widnes[/b:1d72a5qw]

Yes, he did. As much as I don't want him to have a continuing niggle, I hope that's it; I couldn't fathom him being dropped for any other reason.

| King needs game time ahead of his starting centre spot next year, alongside Watkins.

| Russell is not a winger.
As for Ormsby's 3 tries, Madge from Benidorm could've scored them on her mobility scooter!!

I'd rather have Atkins than King personally.

| Penny MUST play on Saturday.
For me, that was the blandest 3/4 line in 15 years, today.Akins took his try well, I don't recall young King doing aanything with the ball, likewise Evans. We need shaking up

| Penny has to play. He's a match winner, and a strong kick catcher (compared to Russell at least).
Brough's left foot kick stopped Lineham playing today, he has the turning circle of a canal barge, and we have too often been beaten on kicks in behind. Yes Evans failed to deal with one which resulted in a try, but I'm not sure Smith has faith in Tommy.
For me, it's Ratchford, Russell (just), Evans, Atkins, Penny for next week.

| I'd personally go with...
Left wing Atkins
Left centre Toby
Right centre Watkins
Right wing Evans.
That says soldity and balanced to me.

King is still developing, so not sure he should be in the starting 17. That said, his last-minute run across the line of defence essentially set up Clark's winning try. You also seem to have missed Evans's fantastic break/run from our own half which split the Giants' defence also set up position for Westwood's score.

I want a lot more than that from Evans during a game. . 3 or 4 years ago, he always looked threatening, with ball in hand. Now, he seems obsessed with defence.
I agree with your confidence in selecting King in the 17. He's not SL standard, yet. Only to be used for injury cover emergencies.
I still say (the way we're currently playing) that the 3/4 line is bland,
