| He's right though, if left up to fans they muck it up 9 times out of 10.
You see some of the things fans think are priority and it makes you laugh.
Beer prices seem to be top priority in every discussion, loads don't drink, kids certainly don't.
A bar
A more varied beer selection
A beer tent
Faster beer queues.
Seriously, fans running anything is usually amateur hour central.
Fans are fans and professional employees are employees for a reason.
On the Facebook fan page some illiterate donkey wrote his Wire manifesto littered with pointless punctuation in block capitals about issues that only concerned him and a select few of his mates, passing it off as though the fans had spoken and here was their result. Fans can be embarrassing.

Its part of the new roll out for the new season, you'll start seeing the new logo in place as the off season takes place, it'll be gradually getting put in position of all the old snarling Wolfies that you see around and about......I stole that off our Rog

Some good points there, thinking about it now who decided who these fan ambassadors were going to be? I don't remember seeing anything were we vote for anyone.

Personally, i think it's like most things in life, certainly in the case of the odd person that jumps up on here and shouts "I WANT TO BE A MODERATOR".
If you're asking very very much to do something, (IMO anyway) you're probably not the right person to be doing it. we all know how difficult it is to get volunteers, for ANYTHING.

As there is no point I may as well add it's a replica of Warrington Zingari. 1885.'"
There was no such team as Warrington Zingari in 1885. I hope that wasn't what they said??
We were originally formed in 1876 as Warrington Zingari (playing in red and black-but sure if any evidence proves whether it was hoops or stripes or what). The club dropped the Zingari for the 1876/7 season. Again I'm not sure it's clear what colours we then played in, but I believe we were NOT playing in red and black by 1878/9, as at the AGM ahead of the 1879/80 season a decision was taken to revert back to red and black (again, I don't think it's known whether they were stripes/hoops/whatever).
Historic kits are not my specific area of expertise/research (I'll get in touch with Gary Slater who is more up on this than me). Would be interested if they expanded on this last night-can anyone confirm? Other than on the badge, is there any reference to the 7 founding fathers, as I'd heard that something was going to be incorporated re these guys? I assume that the 140 years badge has been incorporated somewhere?

| I think the people who are doing it have been to all the focus groups etc so I assume the club approached them first. If you turn up to these regularly I would hope that this shows a certain level of commitment.
The Fans ideas and events are not beer or self related at all and ALL will be family event orientated, Speaking to them last night I was impressed by the things coming up and it is Team and club related. if people do not like the things coming up it is time to quit the club because no other club in SL will be giving this club OR fans the level of access before.
one point that did come out of the groups were members did not feel valued by the club......well trust me that will be blown away in the next few months. Once the season actually starts everyone will see.
If anyone has ideas I suggest you follow the Facebook or Twitter pages etc.

| There's no doubting there will be intelligent Wire fans, successful people with decent ideas, but do they want to get involved with Wire?
Are they qualified enough to offer advice that is worth taking?

| I would have thought the most important aspects should be the future of the club on the field instead of gimmicks like incorporating the nostalgia of rose coloured glasses to try & sell merchandise & the price & variety of booze on offer.

Ignoring the mixed metaphor, why do you assume the two are mutually exclusive?
