| I thought Clark pulled his tripe out. Got frustrated at the end and made some mistakes but he looked as though he wanted to do well.

| Look here chaps. 2nd half we were poor but-
There wasn't too much between the sides in the first half apart from us completing no sets in their half and making stupid mistakes like chipping on the 3rd tackle near their line and that pass from Currie to Ratchford.
We gifted them possession AND their try off the back of another very poor Video decision ala Cas last week meant we should of been only 6 - 0 down at half time. We looked much more industrial in attack and a better pass from a Currie to Ratchford and Myler catching that chip and were in- much better than the last 3 weeks.
With 3 losses under the belt, confidence is going be broken by going in 12-0 at half time and it went downhill from there. We made so many mistakes which hit our confidence even more in a vicious circle while Pie confidence ascended in a vortex.
Sport and most things I guess have so much to do with confidence and we just haven't got it at the moment. We tried tonight but lost our way in the second half. We have no-one on the field at the moment like Morley or Briers to say 'don't worry about that mistake, let's keep going and we'll do it'.
Gidley for next season seems the perfect fit. With some fresh blood in Lineham and Hughes well be ok next season and TS will have learnt a lot from probably his worst rl coaching season. By the way, with Hughes arriving next season, we'll be able to utilize his run around manoeuvre from the game last night where Hudds scored.

| I feel as i they should all be brought in on Monday morning and all of them, Tony Smith and the rest of the coaching staff included, be sat down with their contract in front of them. They can all be given the option that if they don't want to be here or feel that they can do better earn more elsewhere then they are free to tear up their contract there and then, be paid up to Monday and walk out of the door never to come back.

| Who doesn't exactly? Even with that display there were people on that field busting a gut. Clark, Hill, Sims, Penny and Harrison were all doing their damdest until the last minute of that match. Others could be bothered in spurts, which isn't good enough, but the only shocking/ lazy displays on that field tonight were Ratchford, King and maybe Atkins.

Wire never looked like winning tonight just like Wigan never looked like winning a few weeks ago.

I could be wrong here but didn't a club once put their whole team up for transfer??
Vaguely remember it being a Murphy stunt.?

The point is though that given the choice of walking out of the club most would stay as they probably wouldn't get as good a deal elsewhere as they're on now (possible exception of Chris Hill). I think that that's the problem, too many in their comfort zone and simply not hungry enough.

| I'm in for a purest backlash again but we have a big tendency to overrate Hill. I'm not however saying he isn't a great asset, but he is no Morley or Peacock icon as some like to make out. He's a tall Danny Nutley at best.
If you think I'm just picking on old player to compare, the getting up to date Cuthburtson is better than Hill.
Hill is quiet and not a biff too!

| I think if Hill hadn't done 70+ minutes last night we would have been facing a cricket score...he is a tireless workhorse with a deceptive step & turn of speed.

| If you think Cutherbertson is a better all round prop than Hill then your deluded. Hill is Warringtons stand out player and as been for the past 3 years. If you want biff then go and watch Leigh in the championship. Biff puts players in the stand instead on the pitch, not what the modern game expects. You do spoil yourself duckie with these stupid comments.

| Hill has been his usual excellent self but it's true he's been blunted this season. This is down to carrying the pack and the entire team at times. The man is knackered and deserves the rest of the season off. He also looks fed up with some of his teammates and who could blame him?

Not sure if I'm a "purest" (sic) but you do talk some tripe. He is a different player to Moz but his contribution is phenomenal, weren't you the one who said he should be injured so the club would know how much we rely on him?

| For the record I don't think there was any lack of effort last night. What I saw was a bunch of players who are struggling with fitness and confidence. The fitness issue comes from all the injuries we have suffered this season meaning we have overplayed young players, relied heavily on a small group of senior players to work too hard as a consequence and rushed players back before ideally we should.
