Blue chip sponsors like Emirates? Are they going to jump ship because of a gimmicky thing like this? It seems the club can't win on here sometimes. I and others have been critical of the clubs' efforts to promote games in the past (it has often been non-existant) and it looks like they've actually gone to some effort and spent a fair bit of money on this shoot. Isn't that what we all thought they should do? And yet they still get flack. Whether you think it's tacky or not it's going to make more headlines than them sending out a press release saying: "Erm, yeah, we're going to play Wigan on Friday but our season's pretty much over so it's not really that interesting".
