I think Hull Kr have sold nearly 7000 so will probably bring around 7500 to the game.

God forbid we actually agree Tees.

It's a bit of pot calling kettle really. We slagged the Wigan fans for not turning up to the semi back in 09 as they were saving there money for the final. Now we have had a little success we have turned into them. This is the the biggest game of the season against a tricky team. If the fans can't be @rsed turning up it highly inspires the team. It was said the crowd helped the team back in 09. The support may be needed again to give a lift. It amazes me that we can have large followings at Magic and Wembley but not at this important game. If it doesn't involve a night out out then people don't bother going!

I don't see why we ought to worry ourselves about how many tickets KR sell. Just concern ourselves about Wire sales.

On a personal level, i work with a fella who doesn't go games, but has already told me he's got his wembley hotel booked, he's not going the semi final.

nor did he go the previous two, but in both instances had his wembley hotels sorted after the quarter final victories, and had the audacity to complain to me on monday morning each time for the lack of performance.

"did you go?"

"no"

"did you even watch it on the telly?"

"no, was out shopping".

Annoying isn't the word. He was also one of the many people that jumped on the warrington town bandwagon last year.

We do have a very lazy section of the fan base. Can't wait for this one personally, don't understand why you wouldn't go unless you have loads on your plate. At the end of the day though they're missing out, I usually enjoy semi finals more than finals (better atmosphere).

I agree, the jubilation of getting to the final after the final whistle is brilliant. Maybe it was the 09 semi that has done that though I don't know. The finals are horrible and I think it's a lot more tense and less enjoyable.

FMC now that really gets on my nerves! I dont have a problem with fans who don't normally attend games going to finals. Success could lead to new fans which is good. However it annoys me that these people end up with the better tickets!

I'm not bother by the number of fans KR take. Not to belittle them it's like a cup final for them, but they are taking virtually there entire home support to the semi. We are scraping 4k....

I hold my hands up to this one. If I go, it's likely to be a snap decision on the day of play. Saturday has serious effects on what I earn for the week. So I'll not be adding #1 to the ticket tally. Pay on the gate at best.

There is nothing wrong with that, not everyone can make it due to work commitments. However this isn't the case for a lot of fans who for some reason have apathy towards turning up.

I couldn't make Cas at the weekend due to other commitments. I would hope if people were free from commitments and money allowing people would want to go.....

They got to the semis in 2006. Though that didn't end especially well.

To be honest the whole ticketing of this game has been diabolical. Why they didn't allocate a stand each, give the clubs the entire allocation and see if they sell them is beyond me. They seem to have offered each club a % of some of the stands then when this % goes they offered them another stand. We got 3500 for the south, sold them then were told there were no more going to be available. Pay on the day isn't an option either apparently. Can't see the logic but it seems there will be about 4k in the south stand that holds approx 8k? and fans who want to go in but wont be allowed. bizarre.

Anyhow, hope its a great day and a great game.

This is why a membership scheme is good. We should accrue points based on games attended, say 2 for a home game, 3 for a local away game, 5 for a trip beyond the Pennines, etc.

Also I would give 10 for attending a semi final, and then priority for final tickets goes in order of who has the most points.

The only problem with such a system is to accrue points you would have to purchase tickets direct from the ground....i know for virtually all the away games ive been to ive paid on the gate so wouldnt accrue anything.

Have you ever wanted a ticket for any Wires game ever - home, away, semi, final, Magic, whatever, anywhere at all - and not been able to get one?

I haven't and I doubt anyone else on here has. It's not difficult. Yes we have casual fans who go when they can be bothered. In a few thousand cases this means Wembley or Old Trafford only. So what? The tickets are available so no one is taking them away from anyone more deserving are they? Just go and enjoy yourself on Saturday (if you're going) and don't concern yourself with who else is or isn't there. That's what I'll be doing.
