Then add to that Gelling heroically jumping in front of the last second penalty kick in the World Club game.

Alfie Langer casually taking the ball one on one from Tommy Martyn's hands and calmly putting it down to score a try being another.

That's one I was going to say. I recall there was some confusion and Martyn didn't play to the whistle? Was that a Sky game? Is there a video anywhere?

Again, not so much a one-off trick play but something that was used frequently throughout a season.

If Warrington had a PTB on the opponents line, Ken Kelly would stand at dummy half with Bob Eccles directly behind him.
Kelly would scoot off to one side pretending to pick up the ball and Eccles would come in, pick the ball up and plonk it over the line.
This worked on multiple occasions and was probably the same season as Eccles finished as leading try scorer.

I'm also fairly certain I saw John Woods as marker at a PTB and still manage to perform an interception from the opposition's dummy half.

I remember under Cullen's tendency that we would catch defences offside by trapping the ball with the loose forward.

Reg Bowden running across the line 10m out and a reverse pass to the only player ever that would make Mose Masoe look small, Pat Poasa. Who would come steaming through under the posts. Used to try that pass all the time in games and never managed it!!

That happened more recently with Henry Faafili.

The Heanare try was a classic, memory is patchy but I think Sculthorpe ran at the ref and moved him out of the way for Henare to power through.

Didn't we kick from a scrum within our own 20m which either Riley or Penny chased and scored ? Pretty vague I know, but happened sometime within last 5 years.

I think the one you are talking about Shiny might be a home game against Salford....Briers kicked downfield from a scrum near our line & Penny left everyone standing to score.

Chris Riley did a great one at Odsal where he did two (?) chips over the defence in a length of the field try.

I have that game on VHS. Langer grubbers through and chases his own kick, it hits the post padding and Martyn picks up in the in goal area, he attempts to run out and is met by Langer who tries to tackle him. Martyn being the idiot tried to fend Langer off with his ball carrying arm, as he hits Langer simply drags the ball free as he is falling and lands on the floor with ball in hand. Try time! What makes it funny is Martyn takes a couple more paces thinking he still had the ball until he turns round and sees Langer just made him look a melon. His face is an absolute picture as he curses his idiocy lol.

Lee Briers drop goal v Leeds away in the Cullen era to make our first play off series, never happened since I don't think and certainly didn't happen before.
Can't see that happening again with the new structure, oh and the obvious...Lee retired.

Eh? We made the play offs before that in 2003, we got beat by Wigan. And that drop goal advanced us into the next round of play off matches, the Leeds game was a play off game. Unless you mean to [iwin[/i our first play off series [igame.[/i
