| Quote: morleys_deckchair "undoubtedly.... i dont think he is a FB or a HB though.... But if Smith thinks he is a great FB, thats good enough for me.
Lets see how he goes next season when we have a few more decent players and a new HB pairing.'"
His best FB form for me was when he first took over from Hodgson but there again we were a different proposition all over the park then?
I hope that we can end this season on some sort of high but the way we are looking to build next year interesting times ahead and maybe we can sort ourselves out in a few areas that for whatever reason are a couple of years overdue

| For me Ratchford has looked best at FB, maybe in the centres but he seems wasted there. Hasn't Gidley been playing 7 a lot recently? Sandow and Gidley could be a great HB partnership, if Sandow can work with Smith and Briers.
Also everyone is going nuts over Johns 'confirming' this rumour because he has links to the club, but didn't he simply say "I've heard the rumour"? That's hardly a confirmation.

| His knowledge of the goings on at Wire could go as far as looking out for our scores on the BBC Sport app and coming in here to see what we're all saying once a month because he played for us!

| My understanding is that Myler has an offer (albeit a reduced one) on the table if he doesn't find an NRL contract. Which has resulted in this media frenzy being stoked up by his agent.
Mylers structure and support play would be a good foil for Sandow. I'd put them two together given the chance, unless a better half becomes available of course.

| Been watching Sandow quite a bit since the connection with Wire. Although there are good montage videos of his hits and skill, his recent input in games have been for from inspiring.
From the live games I've seen, he is either lazy, the coach has told him to not touch the ball until kick play is required on the 6th, or the acting halves play a greater role at Eels than any other NRL team.
His kicking game is top draw though.

| Myler is never going to Aus. Never. It can only be agent talk. Who do you think the principal money earner is in Casa Myler? Mrs S-M is as close to a national treasure as it gets, and must be on top whack at the Beeb. Why would she uproot to go to the other side of the world when she's handsomely looked after by Auntie Beeb??

| Myler was in talks with Catalans a few weeks ago, not sure this would be an ideal move for him considering his wife's job and the recent baby, however some lads do play for Catalans and still have their family still in England, so anything is possible.

| Is Sandow the back Warrington need, they need a director of play, Sandow is the old Rob Burrow with a defensive game.
Gidley and Sandow are a better pairing than Myler and O'Brien but if i was a Warrington fan I'd be severely underwhelmed; considering Cronk was their target.

| I'm really excited by the new incoming signings. Perhaps you should support an NRL club Neutral Zone and not Wire if you're underwhelmed with those signings. Well done Wire for 3 quality signings.

Cronk is 31. He isn't going to get any better now, his best years are behind him even if he is still top quality (he's still got another SOO and Int tournament...whereas Sandow's best years are ahead of him and they could be with Wire. I like that kind of thing. Someone's prime years with a club are the most memorable. Cronk would be here for his retirement money as he winds his career down.
