| In those other seasons though were you the 2nd lowest points scorers above only Hull???
The lack of points scored by a Tony Smith team is quite alarming. His teams could score points regardless.

That's right - what every rugby league team REALLY NEEDS is a good dose of Alan-Sugar-style leadership and corporate governance and the trophies will just come rolling in. Like Tottenham under Alan Sugar, in fact.

Widnes was a muddy pit of a place. I hope it recovers.

| Having a quick scan after a night out, regardless of what has happened I'll be there later on and I think for the first time ever we actually need Richie Myler, a natural half back who can release the ball quickly.
Get behind the boys!

And every forum needs a bloke that thinks he's funny, but, isn't, a job you seem to fill quite admirably.

| All Godfisher is saying is keep the faith the club is on sound foundations while giving us reasons to be cheerful part one, while understandably the concerns are genuine the way our gripes are going we will be blaming the groundsman next.

True enough, but, this particular comedic genius is supposedly on the site's admin team and has had over 23,000 posts to hone his skills...it appears that he has wasted his time. Poor trolling at best and we deserve better

Bone dry, yet with some of our handling, you could have sworn it was chucking it down.

1. When have we ever been all guns blazing in the first half of the season? Smith is not an idiot, he knows when to peak us, therefore I have full confidence in him that he will peak us come the business end.
Win tomorrow and we could potentially be third by the end of the day should results go our way and its all gravy on this forum again.
This has happened every season since 2012 where we have not performed at the start well enough at the start, wait until the pitches dry up and their will be some serious servings of humble pie.

But since we've been good, getting in he top eight is all we've had to do. Now we have to get into the top four. It's very different. Last year we finished fifth, that wouldn't be good enough this year.
Yes there's a long way to go and we are actually only two points off fourth but there are a number of teams who look well ahead of us in all round quality. Look at the half backs at Catalan HullKR and Salford, all six would walk into our team. Look at the in-play kickers Saints have when fit (Walsh Wilkin Burns Roby and Turner) while we have nobody with a decent consistent kicking game, not a single player. Look at the pace Wigan have throughout their team, we don't have more than three or four players with pace...
I reckon we'll be fighting for the top eight with Hudds Castleford and Widnes.
