You have two people in our team who we haven't even signed. I'd have bridge over wheeler at centre anyday. I'd keep gob and myler at halves.
My only change would be ratch ford at full back, we've desperately missed that 3rd pivot since hodgson left.
As for Paul wood.......

They will definitely be involved but it's just my opinion on squad numbering. I don’t see them being given a number within 13.
From what I heard, Wheeler is definitely signed as right centre. Bridge is definitely starting as first choice half back.
Out of the backrowers, I'm assuming Sims will play prop, even though he was a direct replacement for Trent. In which case I think he will get Asotasi's vacating number as opposed to Moi Moi who will be given a vacant squad number. Woody is sure to keep his 16 regardless.

You've dismissed Ratchford completely who is very well thought of by Smith, and has just signed a new contract. You don't half spout some rubbish. Have you been on the sauce, or the columbian marching powder?

So that is your squad for match one next season .... how does your starting backline change for week 2 onwards when Wheeler picks up his traditional season ending injury

For what its worth my preferred backline for next season would be

1. Ratchford
2. Russell
3. Monaghan
4. Atkins
5. Evans
6. Bridge
7. O Brien ( or better if available )

I too like Ratchford at FB. But Wheeler is signed and will play right centre. So something has to give...either Evans, GOB or Russell.

Russell to cover. Originally I had russell on the wing with Mona's at centre and bridge in the halves, but after the last few weeks it would be stupid to break up that bridge and joel partnership, also I just want to have a consistent partnership in the halves. Myler and gob aren't doing all too bad at the minute so would rather have a settled pairing from the get go next season.

May hap Atkins to 2nd row to replace the departing Trent Waterhouse ....with his new bulked up frame he could do a great job for us in the forwards with Ratch at loose forward.

So let me get this right we're signing a 35 year old prop who can't get near a woeful paramatta team and an injury prone centre who's fit 20% of the time and people are happy?

It has been suggested on this site several times that the boys from down under can take up to a year to settle in & produce the goods they were signed for .Why on earth would we bin one probationer who is now appearing to be upping his game for another possible 12 month donkey ?

Can't see Grix being fit to play at all next season.
