| Personally I think woody isn't good enough anymore.I'd like to see the back of asotasi and myler. Don't know what everyone sees in rhys evans. I would move atkins on the wing and bring in at least one new halfback and a centre.

| Wood has been out a while so you have to give him the botd
Who would I release?
Asotasi, Waterhouse( going anyway) G.Riley
We need a halfback and lots of forwards for me.

| Yed, agree with your comment about Woody, still has something to offer in my view.
Asotasi, sad to report a complete loss of faith. With no obvious signs of improvement after over half a season the axe has to fall.
Russell is conundrum, looks lively but as said earlier or on on another thread, when was the last time he actually beat anybody when running thee ball out? Give him the benefit of the doubt as he is still young
Myler could still come good but he is a support player and should just back people up ala Shaun Edwards in his pomp. He has shown little appetite of ability to manage a game. Decision time about him
Ratch is supreme open field runner and perhaps fullback or loose (after a few pies) would suite. Definite keeper.
I have often marveled at Bennies levels of effort but being part of two man pack much of the season is taking its toll as it is with Hilly who has had a quiet couple of games. Definite keeper though for me.

| It's a shame to hear criticism of Russell. He's young and will mature mentally and physically. These days how often do full backs break the line from a kick return, within seconds of gathering the ball, there are 4 players closing him down. Hodgson and Grose were the only recent wire players and they were freaks. (didn't Stef score one against Wigan?)

| I would go with:
1 Ratchford
2 Russell
3 Evans
4 Atkins
5 Joel
6 Bridge
7 New Blood
8 Hill
9 Clarke (if all is true)
10 Simms
11 Lathwaite
12 Westwood
13 Currie
14 Grix
15 Higham
16 England
17 New Blood
out:
Myler - Can't cut it
Asotasi - No words for this one
Harrison - Seen the best of him
Wood - Good guy but too old now
Retire:
Trent

No he's not very average is he? he's replacing a test and origin player who HAS been very average though.
Simms Will not be a wrecking ball type prop forward, but he trundles up hard yards in the middle of the park something Waterhouse (ok he's playing out wide) and Asotasi don't do.
He's clearly got some Mongrel in him which we are desperate for. He works hard in defence, and he's the back slapping high fiving, encouraging team spirit kind of guy that we need.
And after the loss of Morley and Carvell we need a high profile experienced forward to help out our younger forwards sadly waterhouse has not been the type of guy for that and Westwood has gone off the boil having to do the work of two back rowers while Trent takes it easy. Simms coming in will help both Westwood and Chris Hill.
If that's Hype then fair do's, to me its just an honest assessment of the one coming in being better than the one going out.
But thanks for offering kirke and lovegrove anyway

Sims looked pretty good at the weekend when the Cowboys stuck 64 on Wests.

| I would be happy with just one half back and one new prop. Hooker as well if possible and only if that certain individual actually WANTS to play for us.

| I would play Monaghan at as he has been better there than on the wing without the Briers kick to the corner. Would love to see Evans at 2 and Monas at 3.
