I thought it was a case of 'job done' last night at what is a difficult place to go and play. Again, some promising performances from the youngsters.

Having said that I thought a stronger opposition would have made us pay for those completion rates. Scrappy game all round- definitely not one for the purists, but I guess you can't grumble if we get the job done.

Its times like this that I'm glad the fixture list didn't give us a trip to Wigan or Saints.

I think visiting Wigan and Saints in the last two games will do us wonders going into the play offs, would rather play them then than now.

From the radio commentary you can't always tell, but Roy seemed to continue his improvement & how did Philbin go ,there wasn't much mention of him ? I think the name mentioned most on the radio was Thaler . It did seem to be a scrappy game with poor handling throughout by both sides although there seemed to be some good tries scored too. Sounded like the usual stalwarts had steady games supported by our enthusiastic youngsters.

A good win overall considering HKR has not always been a happy hunting ground for the Wire.

I was there and believe me he was awful once again. The Bradford game last week was the highlight of his Wire career and I don't see him reaching that again after yesterday's performance.

As for our following, I was pretty impressed for a Friday night in Hull. At least 300 which is more than we used to bring to Hull when they had the temporary stand.

All in all a job well done last night!

Unfortunately the supposed lack of away support didnt seem to hinder Warrington. Just like everyone in the East stand baying for Thaler's blood didnt stop him being a complete bell end.

The only thing we need to be concerned about is the consecutive hammerings we have just taken and how bad our team is playing at the moment, not away support, referees, price of beer, or whatever else detracts from the main issue
