| 16 players really give it some Kevin.

| Cheers folks. Glad England made a good start. Don't start praising Waterhouse, you know that's not allowed!

| They was. Waterhouse a bit hot headed. But he put a shift in in defence.
Asotasi was solid. He's nowt special in attack but hard.

| From Tony's post-match interview I get the impression that once Russell is fit O'Brien will be dropped again. Myler is basically being given a "few more weeks to get fit"

If so, that would be a shame.
Russell should be full back, Ratchford should replace Atkins in the centres, and GOB/Myler in the halves.

| Better but a long way to go.
We could have won the game if not for silly final decisions. In the second half Ratchford and O'B both went for the try line when both Bridge and JMon' were free outside them both times; both were snuffed out in tackle6. And the slack defending for all of their tries were definitely avoidable.
But we lost and we still need to improve as much as we did from last week again, and more, for next week against Hull.

| We played a good Leeds side tonight without us having any real direction from the halfback pairing. To loose by 6 is not a bad effort. Before hand I think the majority on here would have taken a -6 defeat.

| Huge improvement on last week... I thought some of the forwards were outstanding... We lacked some guile in the halves and looked a bit out of sorts still, but the effort was there.
Some very poor kicking from Myler and some silly decisions from older players that should know better at crucial times cost us.
One mistake apart Ormsby looked decent and justified the decision to pick him.. he ran the ball in at props and still carried on going forward after impact... It will be interesting to see how he does playing next to someone that isnt having a rugby league meltdown.
its going to be difficult to keep Atkins in the team after that display.

| Hill,Westwood, England, both Mickeys and Grix played well I thought. Looking forward to having Matty Russell available.

| we need Briers back. Or someone like him. i understimated his influence and coupled with the absence of Hodgson we have become a stale attacking side.

| I think ormsby was magnificent in terms of a debut performance, he always wanted to be involved. England was solid as was Evans. Hill, higham, grix, Joel and Westwood were as dependable as ever. We were so much better, a few defensive errors, mostly down to atkins who had an absolute stinker but still a massive improvement.
When we were on the 5th tackle only gob actually made me think we could achieve something, Mylers last tackle kicks were just as bad as they were last week he can't be depended on in this situation, hills kick was almost better than any of Mylers. I think ratchford needs a chance at half back, preferably with gob on current form he made a fee mistakes and looked a little rusty but he did at least put Leeds on the back foot and ask them some questions. I feel that Leeds got lucky a few times and perhaps we could have had one or 2 more penalties but all in all we matched up well in the forwards and played ok. Leeds were really good tonight and probably deserved the points on reflection but we have at least given ourselves a performance to build from. Onward and upwards ormsby surely can't be dropped even his supposed mistake wasn't that bad he was caught with a decision to make and at least made one, it was a very good attacking kick to be fair to gene.
