| Personally I prefer the Friday fixtures, great start to the weekend! But like some I don't work dodgy hours. Shame some people will miss out on some of the biggest games of the season but I'd still expect a good turn out for the Thursdays for those able...seem to remember uproar about the Monday fixture against Wigan and the HJ was pretty rowdy!

| I think it's a little underhand by all the clubs and Sky. Sky/Clubs could easily have announced the switch to Thurs/Fri games quite some time ago. Again people will have bought season tickets assuming the pattern of live games would be the same as last year.
It's the price we pay for having the Sky money. The year after I expect a lot of Wednesday games as they've lost the Champions league coverage so they'll have to fill the slots with something!

No I have more weekends off than I do Fridays, I have one Thursday off in 16 weeks
1 in 16 Thursdays
4 in 16 Fridays
8 in 16 Saturdays
12 in 16 Sundays
Can you see now why I'm angry or you going to continue to be obtuse?

Its more to do with the fact they have the Premier League Saturday 5:30 slot which used to be on ESPN.......not sure why they are changing games in June & July though

I am not being obtuse. I am simply wondering what the basis of your argument/complaint is.
I have counted 11 fixtures for Warrington that fall on a weekend. The fact that you can only attend 3 games because of your shift pattern is nobody's fault. It is plain and simple bad luck.
If it just so happened that SKY went for Saturdays and Mondays and you could only attend a few games, you would complain and ask for Thursdays and Fridays.
My point is you can't please everyone. As much as you would like the RFL and SKY to plan the fixtures around you, that isn't going to happen.
If you're that bothered then move closer to Warrington or get a new job. Or stop whinging.

Can you not see that this will put off parents from taking their kids to night games...I do think Sky have got this wrong...
They are only thinking about TV ratings...They know awkward kick off times will more than likely make people watch on the TV..

| Thursday games are a nightmare for me as I take my kids to the games and they are knackered the next day in school.
We all went to the Play off semi this year and my little girl fell asleep on the front row of the South Stand so there is no point taking her again on Thursdays or my lad who is 7 as he was just as bad and wanted to go home at half time!

Yes of course I see that. It doesn't affect me personally but I can fully understand it makes it difficult for families.
But the point I was making is that people moaning and whinging because the fixtures don't suit their own working pattern is more than a bit self-centred and blinkered.

| Mate I moan because back in the day the majority of games were played at the weekend, I put a lot of time, effort and money into following Wire, I love following my team and I love the live game experience. The creeping in of midweek games lowered the number of games I was able to attend but I took that on the chin. They've now added even more games thus lowering my enjoyment even more.
Why should I move back and get another job?
Sky realise this will hurt attendances, in fact they prey it does, less people in the ground and more people in front of the tv is more people being drip fed their adverts, which is what they want.

| And why is it ok for a family person to whinge and not someone who is just incompatible because I'm 'self centred'
Do a survey of people asking if they could pick one day of the week what would they choose.
Thursday wouldn't even register.

I agree. I wouldn't choose Thursdays either.
There are 11 Warrington games on a weekend and you can only attend 3. That is what I'm getting at. You have almost of the games on a weekend and it's your shifts getting in the way again, as they do with Thursday and Friday games.

According to the Warrington press release, "The Warrington-Saints derby is the first game of 2014 to be televised live on a Thursday night following the successful trial last season, when the new time slot drew strong TV audiences with no detrimental impact on attendances."
As Paul Weller once told me, "The public gets what the public wants".

I accept that, I know that if all the games were played at the weekend I'd still miss games, im resigned to that before they even come out, but the thing is midweek games are usually an instint no attendance from me, adding more winds me up. Then the fewer games that land on the weekend then land on the days I'm working.
It becomes more of a lottery. This year 3 games isn't a lot, I need the CC to be kind to me possibly the playoffs too.
