One of the best half backs since SL began.
Not someone I would necessarily choose to have a pint with, but a loss to RL and a well respected player. Wolves will miss him.

We've had precious few players that I'd call a legend, since I started watching the game (Bevan J, and Gregory M) but Lee deserves to be included in such company.

Yes, Lee didn't fulfill 100% of his talent (we, as Wire fans, can all admit to this, I'm sure) , but a truly fantastic talent, nonetheless.

His omission from GB sides is not a scandal, more GB's loss.

So thank you Lee for a fantastic career in P&B.......club legend

Lee's playing and points record speaks for itself.

He's carried the club through many dark times - almost single-handedly.

His rugby league brain is / was 2nd to none - from packing down in the Wigan scrum to delay the play and run the clock down ( ) to pin point accurate kicks for any number of wingers.

His recent maturity (and it took a long time in coming.... but thankfully did) was capitalized on by TS. (If only TS had been here a few years earlier....)

Gutted for him that his last match was a loss, but looking forward to a few GF wins with him on the coaching staff.

The likes of Ratch / Myler and GOB will surely develop even quicker now.

Lee - it's been a privilege to watch you play. You will be missed.

I wish Lee all the best for his retirement from playing and hope that he can forge a successful coaching career starting with the u19s at Warrington. I trust that first home game next season an opportunity will be given for the fans to show their appreciation.

One of the modern games true characters , there are so few left . Always capable of something special to get fans off their seats . Just a shame Wire couldn't close out the big one in October and send him off in style .
