Leeds fans will cling on to the Briers 'punch', but the fact is that Ablett was outplayed and Leeds fans' hubris went against them today. The best team won, arguably by a margin that flattered Stevo and Phil C's beloved 'Raaarh-neers'.

Mick Monas was looking like the one of two seasons ago before the injuries.

Westwood was awesome but for me Mick Monas won us that game, it was like the Monas of old, absolutely killed them at the ruck.

Monas absolutely butchered Leeds.... No one does that pass to put a player through a gap better than him... It's great to watch.

Our forwards absolutely murdered them as well... They couldn't live with the aggression of our pack.

Briers definatley should have got red it was an unprovoked punch to a player with his back turned.

Despite that Leeds can't say it had any bearing on the result, they was in a winning position and went on to get completely dominated. Westwood was back to his best after what seems to have been a slightly below par season from what I have seen. But the main man IMO was M Monaghan, that's the best performance I've seen from him for a couple of years.
