shame about this thread as i think its a bit of sour grapes or a bit of a leg pull gone wrong, i went yesterday and before during and after thought both sets of fans where great, the clapping and backslapping from the wire fans after the match made me proud to be a rugby supporter, to all the brill wire fans i applaud you

I am amazed by anyone thinking Tony Smith is arrogant. I've always found him to be very generous and respectful to any opposition and very fair in his assessment of games - English football managers could learn a hell of a lot from him in conducting themeslves. The Saturday before last he was in the club shop while I was in there with my son and we approached him to have a photo taken. He couldn't have been more pleasant and obliging, and the way he was speaking to others in the club shop showed him to be a very decent individual indeed.

Unfortunately that counts for nothing when you're playing someone else.
