I live in Manchester and love Celtic, but I find it hard to believe that anyone on here attended that game. Did our Challenge Cup semi final V Wigan taking place at the same time not appeal to you?

| Would not even consider missing this game! However I am in no rush to get tickets as it will never sell out. Expecting Hull to outnumber us quite heavily which is a shame. Like people have said maybe our 4th semi final in 5 years has made it less special to some but it shouldn't be taken for granted.

8. On holiday.
Most people don't take their kids out of school, so the options are either go at the beginning as miss the semi, or run the risk of missing the final. I've only been to one semi, which was last year, when number 7 (Lack of money) meant we couldn't go on holiday. Missing this one too, but already sorted a bar to watch it in, which has Wire flags on the walls. Going to pop down to the shop tomorrow to see if I can pick up another to add to their collection.

Exactly. This year Im buying a ticket by myself. Im tagging along with a mate from work and his group as none of the people I usually go with are bothering due to money issues/work . Atleast the poor sales means there should hopefully be an empty seat for me to have near my mate!

| Think money is a big factor
Getting to the business end of the season now and games start to build up
CC Semi then final less than a month later
Play off start a couple of weeks after with the GF just over a month after CC final.
For many taking family is a costly sum so, people will start to pick and choose.

| I'm thinkink about missing this one. I've been doing alot of thinking and I suddenly thought 'What if someone says a bad word in front of women and children?' I can't bear the thought of that happening and I'd rather not be a part of it.

Maybe you should miss it. Just sit at home in a darkened room and think about growing up after some of your recent comments both on here and on the HKR Site.

| I just don't understand it.
We get the constant theories on here, particularly after the occasional poor league attendances/performances that it's because "the league means nothing" - so surely the cup, and a semi-final no less, is the antithesis to the "meaningless" league, and a sure fire supporter draw?
One of my best memories was the trip to the (then) Galpharm in 2010 for the CC fifth round. We took about 40 coaches, filled our ticket allocation (and then some), and played our part in a 60-4 demolishing of Hudds.
What's changed between then and now? Consistent success. Success brings more fans through the door, but success can also lead to a level of apathy - [iit's only Salford/Broncos at home, it's only a quarter/semi final[/i etc.
The club has run subsidised coaches before, which I saw as a nice gesture. It seems now they're having to run them to simply get a decent turnout.

| I don't think Hull will be selling too many more than Wire to be honest. We do have to travel further but we're used to that, however in terms of PR and feel good factor leading up to this game, the negativity is deafening. Most think Gentle would have been sacked after our defeat at Bulls, that can't be good for the coach and his team. Then we have the small factor of both half backs being injured and havent played for weeks and our best player this season just been ruled out for the season (Crooks). Add to that, our 5 league defeats on the trot and I think ticket sales won't be anything like our previous semis either. Don't think the k.o time will put off many from our end to be honest.
