| Can't see this being true and I hope it isn't. Better to leave the club with 'legend status' than rise on the sabbath only to struggle and face all that abuse again.
As far as I'm aware he is involved with coaching the youngsters at Souths which makes it even more unlikely.

Ha ha I assume this is a joke because there's no comparison between the two.
Great to have Matt King back for a couple of seasons, definite improvement on Atkins if it's as his replacement.

| How confident are these rumours of Ryan going to Yawnion? They've been floating around since 20 minutes before we signed him but nothing ever seems to come from it.
He's been quiet this season, really his form seemed to go from the CC Final last year and he's not gotten back to his tackle busting best but getting Kingy (legend that he is) back would be a backward step. We could do with getting another young, fast centre in - ideally build Rhys Evans a new foot.

| This would be the worst signing since David Plange , He WAS a fantastic player and if this is true then Michael Maquire has rang Shaun Wane and informed him where the chink in the armour will be next season .
He has had a double fracture of the arm , he hasn't played for nearly 2 seasons and on the injury front he is under INDEFINATE on returning , please TM don't do this .

Ha ha and I assume this is a joke because there is no comparison between the two.
I say this on the basis I doubt that the Matt King that came back would be the same Matt King that left us. With his reputation in tact, he should stay in Aus and if we need a replacement for a Union bound Atkins as rumoured, we should look elsewhere. All things being equal and Atkins stays then I wouldn't be disappointed at all.

| I was told this story on Saturday but the person who told me didn't seem to think that Warrington would sign him.
Could he be going to Salford?
I was told that he wants to come back because his wife wants to work here but she had a baby only a couple of weeks ago so it all seems a little unlikely.
Another thought on the subject - When he gave one of his final interviews, he said that he might come back one day in a coaching capacity, when his playing career was over, if Tony Smith had any room for him.
He has been involved in coaching our younger players, too. He was always willing to turn up and lend a hand.
I guess time will tell.

| Can't see it somehow. I'm sure he'd do a great job us for even with a duvet around his arm a la Nick Fozzard and Mark Hilton.

I dare say he'd do a fine job for us, MKC, but surely it's time for Rhys Evans to step up to the mark, now.
The only trouble being Evans would get injured appearing on A Question Of Sport

It was Bradford after Hull, and a couple of knee surgeries. Toa had lost that devastating burst when he returned.

We need to get some top scientists onto building Rhys a new foot. He seems to be permanently crocked. Sorry to lower the tone by mentioning the *other* code, but Rhys reminds me of Dave Strettle (who was in the Wire academy), he made a brilliant debut, had blistering pace and footwork but recurrent foot injuries have blighted his career and left him half the player he was. Let's hope Rhys can get it sorted because he has all the talent to be an absolute great.

I'll stand corrected but I don't remember David Strettle ever being at our academy? I played RU with him at school and don't remember that.

I may be misremembering - a quick google search says Warrington was his youth side and that he was playing RL till he started at Lymm before his footie trials.
