Just got back, great game of Rugby and could of gone either way.

Credit to Wires defense, barring 20 mins in the second half, we couldn't get through.

Easily the best game of the season, congratulations on the win and from a Wigan point of view I think we can only take positives from that performance.

Incredible game. If only other games could stand up to it. I thought our defence was amazing on our own line. Wigans scrambling back was also something to admire. I feel both teams got away with murder at times but it made the tension all the more palpable. I am very surprised nothing kicked off.

I agree both teams played there hearts out and it was a very good game for both, however i too feel the ref needs to get a grip. It seemed to find it hard to make a decision without going to the sodding video ref all the time. Warrington V Wigan in the Grand final will be a grand end to the year .

Though people say It's bad it was a Monday night game... ~What a spectical for People tuning in as a new viewer! Best two teams in the league and they showed it tonight. Edge of the seat and something special was always going to happen.

Wigan were fantastic and Wire came up with far to many errors but had the knowledge to take control when the chips were down. Amazing atmosphere and if Wire and Wigan appear against each other in a final I think it could really put RL on the map.

The Leythers did well, and Hilly and Higham were reported to be superb tonight.

I thought Wire should be a tad concerned about that. Wigan dominated a big portion of that game and given who they had missing, that's got to be a bit of a worry for Smith?

Micky Higham was the difference, he was incredible really, the Higham of 10 years ago. Warrington are so similar to that vintage of Saints team as well, everything went through the middle tonight, Clarke's stats about play the ball positions would have resembled a green mohican.

Fantastic game between easily the two best teams in the competition for the past few years. I think it was Wires experience and patience that saved the day.

I think a special mention should go to the ball boy behind the sticks at the East end of the ground. About 70 minutes in with Wigan 12-10 up and Charnley concedes a drop out and throws the ball away to eat up the clock. The ball boy threw another ball with perfect precision to come to rest on the line between the posts. Sam Tomkins walked back to his line and kicked that ball away. The same ball boy had already recovered yet another ball and once again threw it to land under the cross bar. Quick thinking and accurate throwing to do his bit to help stop Wigan doing a little bit of time wasting.

Yes I agree - Wigan have up to 7 players out, we had maybe 2.

On last nights performance Wigan deserve to be top.

When we went 12-10 down I thought that was it because it looked like Wigan had so much posession and territory (although I don't know the stats) and we were hanging on.
