I thought about that earlier! I always enjoy going to Keighley, the cricket club next door is nice and very well priced, as is the bar beneath the stand. The pie and peas is second to none! Great day out.

| Didn't go last year, but will probably go this year. What's their ground capacity ? Do we need tickets in advance ? And where can you buy Simpson avatars ?

I wouldn't have thought you'd need tickets in advance. That wasn't necessary for last season's game - I think the attendance was about 2,500 but the ground can easily take double that (so bring some of your mates as well). Cougar Park is a great place to watch Rugby League and you'll all be most welcome again.

| If memory serves there was a vaguely interesting debate on here (in a break with recent tradition) about "Cougarmania" and how they got stiffed re SuperLeague and how they would definitely have been a force and wouldn't have collapsed under the weight of the complete of sustainability of their business model...allegedly. Look forward to rehearsing those arguments again.
As for the game, I don't agree we should be playing our strongest 17. Not convinced all our players that are playing are fully fit, gives them a chance to rest up if so. Offence intended.

| I wonder who our 1st 17 are now ? It would mean we have to rest Currie.
Personally I would like to see Dwyer, as he has had some good reports from Swinton, Saltonstall, Briers back for his first game, Evans back at centre and (ducking swiftly below the parapet ) Rhys Williams on the wing. I don't think it would do any harm to have Gavin Benion on the bench either.

I think that is fair. Ideal opportunity to hand out some debuts.

| Rhys Evans probably won't make this game (medial strain I think). Would be good to see Saltonstall have a shot, impressive when I've seen him play.

7,800 but I think H&S currently restricts it to around 5,000. Will be fine paying on the gate if you want to stand but going off last year you may have to purchase seating in advance, if memory served they charged a couple of quid extra to sit last year (usually just £15 adult £8 conc for ground access) which is fair enough the day is a big money maker for them.
Plenty of parking on the streets around the ground, and the cricket club next door is very reasonably priced, as is the bar below the stand which serves proper beers as opposed to the usual shandy you get at most places!

Excellent, thanks for that. Assuming it's on the Sunday I will be there.
