This goes for both sides so I'm expecting quite a close contest.
Hull are missing Liam Watts, Danny Tickle, and Gareth Ellis in the forwards and all 3 would walk into our first choice 17.
The thing that I am most worried about is our right edge, where we are playing Lineham (Wing) and Crooks (Centre). Both players have bags of potential and are sure to be stars of the future, but both are also lacking SL experience.
Looking forward to a good game, have a safe trip over.

The six are Mendeika, Morrison, Burke, Ormsby, Shaw and Riley. They are our 'over-age' U20 players from last year.
I could be wrong, because the whole situation appears to be a 'moving feast', but we don't have any loan players with them, we have DR's. You can nominate as many DR's as you wish (Widnes have DR'd their entire squad) but the partner club can only field 5 of them per game.
I thought Troy was your home location by the way, not Northampton.

It is a moving feast but I think you are almost there!
I also believe that Danny Bridge has signed on at swinton as the league express indicated that it was now 7 that had signed and Bridge has been allocated squad number 20 at Swinton.
As far as we know there are no loan deals in place and the rest of those who have played for Swinton this year have done so on dual reg. Over the first three games these have been :
wood, McCarthy and laithwaite then
o'brien, Dwyer, laithewaite and mccarthy then
dwyer, mccarthy and currie.
Looks like there will be no DR players left this week

That is useful. I had heard Swinton were trying to sign a further Wire player but were having a contract complication.
Final piece of the jigsaw is whether Swinton can loan 'their' contracted ex Wire players back to us if we get further injury problems. Mind you at this rate it will be of no benefit, since Burke (ankle) and Riley (hand) are already out injured.

| Just looking on the players twitter pages who are at Swindon, 3 of the 4 who have twitter have a Warrington related picture on their profile.
Glen Riley even states on his bio that he plays for Warrington
Surely this means that they are in some way still part of Warrington.

Technically, no. They have a contract with Swinton, not with us. But;
Life as a Championship club is tough. Swinton do not have a big squad of players that are contracted over 1 to 5 years. Each year they will agree a 1 year contract with the best players they can afford as they move into the RL season. So for me, this is the important issue; all their players will be released at the end of the season - including the ex Wire players. I think you can draw your own conclusions from there.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| I think we'll lose tomorrow, possibly badly.
It's so early in the season, with so many points left, it will barely matter - although I'm sure it will feel like the end of the world on here.

| Tonight is an ideal opportunity for fringe players to step up and show their true worth. Copper will probably cover Moz's spot with hopefully Currie standing in for Super Ben. I can't see them letting us down. Myler seems to be growing in terms of confidence so I'm not all doom and gloom regarding this game.

McCarthy could fill the spot left by Copper I think.
