| Quote: Dropkick Murphy "The highlight of the day from Widnes fans was the way they celebrated gesturing wildly towards us - with a few of them doing that ridiculous "easeh easeh" seal clapping thing - when they scored their third try. Was it because they thought they were now back in the game at a mere 40-14 down?!
I remember them doing exactly the same seven years ago when we were already about 50-60 points ahead and their relegation was minutes away from being confirmed.
Bless them.'"
Come on, let them have their fun. I remember doing pretty much the same thing at Knowsley Road when we were battered 56-6 about a decade ago - better than sitting there being miserable, and listening to 'We Are The Champions' on repeat from the other end (seriously, did they have any other music?).

| I've never celebrated any score in my life in a rugby or football match unless I genuinely believed it had a positive impact on the game.
Why would you be ecstatic at now being "only" 26 points behind with about ten minutes to go? Even if it's some kind of ironic celebration, personally even in games where I've expected to lose - several at Knowsley Road as you point that out - I've still hoped we wouldn't, and at 30 points down I would be gutted and certainly have no energy for a bit of a laugh if we pulled four points back.

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!: |

| Quote: Alfie Langer No2 "I kicked up a fuss with that fat head steward who wouldn't allow Riley or Solomona to approach the kids in the stands.
Apparently RFL rules and regs state "Players are not allowed off the pitch or into the stands".
Fair enough, I'm sure the same regs say no kids or non-authorised personnel on the pitch either yet all clubs do it on their final home game. He had no comeback to that and walked off. Jobsworth'"
In fairness I suppose the decision has to be taken "further up the ladder" as clubs can face fine if they fail to implement it. After the games at the HJ, the Warrington players will normally only come to the touchline and deadball line when applauding the crowds. (Might depend on which, if any, observers the RFL have in the stands)

| Yet again no full scale riots? The author of 'The Family Game' is going to be struggling for material for his next book at this rate.
On a serious note though, good news that the kid was found so quickly.

| the highlight of the day for me was the cutting banners the Widnes fans had....
"we might live in the past, but at least we don't dress like it" that one hurt, but......
" One more than Warrington, World Champs '89" had me in tears

I found that cheap in a bookshop in Halifax. What a waste of money.
