the cc was talked about at great length on the Super League Back Chat program on Sky......I thought it was quite good.

So I can't understand why it wasn't mentioned at all on Boots 'n' all...should it be renamed Boots 'n' Super League?

It was a little bit tongue in cheek as Mr Gok Wan Murphy, apart from having an opinion whether your post is interesting, or not, also feels compelled and presumably suitably qualified to pass on shopping and fashion advice.

One particular area of his expertise is trainers and which ones he will be wearing for that special occassion, hence my post.

He also entertains and informs in equal measure on matters such as where you should by your polo shirts and whether cargo pants are more or less suitable than shorts...all riveting stuff!!!

Oh yes! Just near the end, after Sam Tomkins highlights from Soccer AM got a five minute airing, Eddie asked if Sam Tomkins should win Man Of Steel. Brian said that he thought Ben Westwood should win it and Eddie laughed.

Eddie's awful, and yet no-nowts on the VT will swear blind he's a Warrington fan.

On a more positive note - it was great to hear of Benny Westwood being talked up for this years Man Of Steel. Carney was being cagey about his reservations re the voting system but they were giving Super Ben some big raps

The cup was discussed for the best part of 15 minutes on Back Chat the night before, absolutely no need to go over it again. Also FWIW sky showed three cup games this year along with extended highlights of the final. Stop lookin for excuses to slate the people who finance our sport.
