| Great stuff, glad Hill and Westwood got an extension, we need to tie those guys in they are amazing talent.
Briers, Higham and Moz definately have some time left in them, was worried about Moz earlier on in the season but with Smith rotating now it is working much better.
So glad the youth are having a chance to shine too, we need to keep hold of the great home talent...
In Smith we trust

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| I've signed a new 15 year contract extension with Warrington to take me up to my 50th Birthday. Saints put a bid in but I've decided to commit to the Wire. Delighted to secure my future and that I'll be a Warrington fan for the best years of my supporting life.

Bloody hell, I just knew there would be a downside to all this.

Really.......... I hope so, he is class.
The one Contract Extension I now very much want to hear is Tony Smiths.
I am hoping that it is the case that TS got the players he wants singed up and now will turn his attention to his own contract.

He's actually one of my favourite posters, but don't tell him as he will only start getting big headed.

| Very suprised with Hodgson getting two years but ISWT, look forward to Ratchford learning from him in that time.
Delighted really, I was only thinking that other day we'd better get round to this. Could mean the end for Solo and Williams. As for recruitment, I think we'll get Bateman and that's our lot.

| I think part of the reason to give Higham two years is Monaghan supposedly never returning to full fitness, if Mickey M was unavailable for a large period it'd be throwing Dwyer in at the deep end a bit.

Dwyer is certainly not the finished article & needs another year or 2 learning off Higham & Monas with game time - wonder if a loan to championship or SL would do him good?

| Delighted with all of these but a bit suprised with Hodgsons 2 years, yet only 1 year for Briers ?
Who was it on here that wanted Morley shipping off to the knackers-yard a couple of months ago saying he was over & a spent force etc ? Pretty poor considering the injury he had (I could go back and look but can't be bothered).

| T'was me Paul.
I think the amount of players continuing to play SL when well into their 30's is an alarming statement of just how bad a state SL is in at the moment.
These players, including Morley, would not be able to cope in the NRL yet they are holding their own in SL quite comfortably. That tells its own story about our comp IMO.
I still think Morley is way past his best but obviously Smith feels like he can still do a job, which is probably true given that the comp is so weak.
Fair play to Morley though I thought he played his best game in ages against saints on Monday night. I hope there is more of that to come and that he makes me eat my words.
I do wish that we could unearth the next Adrian Morley though.

There are quite a few veterans in the NRL.

| Hill has the potential to be the next Morley although I don't think he'll ever be as 'aggressive'.
