| We won't beat them by playing a load of loose-forwards out of position. We'll need skill to break the Dragons down (we struggled last time). O'Brien should start.

| Yeah defo O'Brien to start, need two half backs on the pitch for this game, that's why we struggled against Salford. O'Brien has alot of potential so what better way to get it..

| Makes you wonder what state Monas was in when they played him for those couple of games.
I would go with Grix in the halves for his physical presence, let Briers call the shots on attacking plays with assistance from Hodgson.

| I had to listen on radio last weekend and going by the commentators grix was rather static in the halfs so its got to be O'brien for me if that was the case.

| Think there's a bit more to moz's injury than is being released by the club !

| Strange one that - very quiet on what's going on with Moz.
GOB in the halves
Blythe and Currie to miss out.
Gaz C was really impressive off the bench and I'd like to start with Wood and Hill but Cats pack is so big I think Gaz has to start with Woody coming on after 20 mins.

| I'd try and find a place for Currie if at all possible, for a number of reasons. With him, you've somebody on the bench who offers cover to the backs, he's got the pace & physique to cover centre should we get an injury like we lost Myler over last time within minutes.
He got MOM last week, I think he deserves to keep his place.
I know it's all about physicality against Catalans is the word, when we've won there we've won from deep. Last years win came through breakaways, intercepts etc, I think we need to have a strike threat about us and this may be from deep so I think we'll need some mobility.

| Think Currie won't play. Smith has a habit of easing the young players in, remember him saying somewhere that he doesn't want to risk serious injury or burn out by playing the youngsters too much

Good point but there's no need to rush his development. He's 17 and with plenty of "below par" teams in SL, he'll get his chances throughout the year. Stick with Tyke on the bench so we can match their physicality and then play off our superior outside backs when they've got the space.
Currie will probably be off to Leigh next year; they really seem to have the right set-up for our young guys and the experience does them wonders.

Currie is far too good for going to Leigh next year. I fully expect to see Westwood at prop next season and Currie holding down a place in the second row. He is a top class player.
I would personally have him involved tomorrow as he can provide cover in the backs if required.

I much prefer Westwood at loose. And if a certain Oz/SOO forward signs on the dotted line TS will have a nice problem with team selection as he plays prop or loose forward.

| I hope Currie plays but I think Tony Smith may decide to leave him out. Anyone who has watched his hat trick in the U20's game and the rest of the match will know that this lad is going to be a real star. He's got the all the skills and most important (of course) is that he is quick. I think he's going to play a lot this season.
