| Do you not understand that NO ONE can compare to the sheer awesomeness and size that is Wigan RL?!? I mean why do we small clubs even bother to try and compete?

Even if we do turn over more money than they do.

There is no rule about them playing at the DW on Saturday just Mr DW doesnt want them to.
Central park has fallen down poor old wiggan build it up with pie and peas.

Do we have a greater turnover than Wigan? Must admit would be surprised if we did!

| I've been laughing ever since I heard the first pie try to blame the RFL for the fact they have to wait for Latics to tell them whether they can play games at home or not.
Have we ever had to play a home fixture at another ground? Maybe after the fire in the main stand? Honest question.

At Wigan after main stand had burnt down due to scorched pitch and at Maine Road in about 1986 to utilise under-pitch heating as country in middel of deep-freeze are the ones I remember.

| Still can't believe the venue hasn't been announced by the rent boys - talk about rugby league being a joke, makes our game a laughing stock!

| Are people seriously suggesting that Wigan should build their own stadium, when they have a perfectly serviceable one at their disposal?
The scheduling of the Challenge Cup is at fault, to my mind. The first 'proper' round was on the same weekend as the FA Cup semi finals and the Grand National, now the quarter finals clash with the last weekend of the Premier League. In addition, I seem to recall this Super League season kicked off the same weekend as the Six Nations. I'm not saying the RFL should bow to other sports, but with all the moaning about media coverage that goes on, they hardly make it easy for themselves.

If Wigan were playing on my garden I'd draw the curtains.

Why would you be surprised? We have more income streams than they do. They get nothing whatsoever from any events at the DW, and as they don't own it they can't rent it out.

Turnover isn't really relevant, profit is.
Wigan's income streams will change quite a bit in the next few years. Will it be profitable, IL thinks so, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
