50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| It was quite dull. Cas, depleted though they were, offered nothing apart from a 15 minute spell. On that evidence, they're not SuperLeague standard. And based on the first sentence of my post I've become the spoilt supporter I've also abhorred.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Pretty much a summation of my thoughts. Walking out conversing with a friend of mine, I was bemoaning the performance, whilst he stated what have we become where we can be unhappy with such a victory.

Seems losing to Fev coupled with the Chase incident has knocked them for 6, there was a time when adversity made RL teams stronger. I think our non-performance against them also gave them a 'we just need to turn up mentality' too.
Anyway well done

| A group of blokes behind me spent the first 10 minutes trying to work out which prop the number 24 was! They then spent the next 70 minutes discussing the football!
We were back to our best in the first half. We barely got out of first gear in the second - but then we didn't have to.
Warrington players scored all of the tries as Lee Mitchell scored for Cas!

Possibly.
One thing that is down to Millward was either the selection, preparation or perserverance with Milner in the left centre position. Bridge and Monaghan destroyed him and his wing partner (can't remember his name) for the first half. It was only in the second half that he moved McGoldrick over to defend that side (and also, as it got him closer to the supporters, presumably to ask if anyone needed their driveway tramaccing). I'm told Milner is a hooker by trade so I don't blame him per se but it was crazy to leave the lad out there that long.
Cas' hooker has got potential. The rest. Meh.

| Think we had 7 missing yesterday, man of steel, 8 including losing our 3rd choice full back early on. We were never going to compete with that against us against the class of warrington. Total miss match, poor size squad, confidence at a low, only one winner.

Fair point. We had Ratchford, Evans, Myler, Morley, Monaghan, Carvell & Solomona missing so I think the result reflects on the respective squad strengths.

| Milward was a fool for leaving Milner and Griffin vs Bridge and Monaghan for the entire 40. The game could have been 3 figures to Warrington if we were really on our A game for the 80. The first half alone, we could have been 50 points up.
It was painful viewing in the 2nd half though from a Warrington perspective.

| A lot better and hopefully more improvement to come. Job done in first 20.
Another good game from Brad Dwyer. If he carries on like that he'll be a regular in the 17.
