| Wood was by far our worst player, thought he was bad last week but had a shocker tonight. Cant knock woody too much cause he's been a great servant but deffo a rotation prop at best now.

| agree with Riley, always plays his heart out and Hill looks like he's going to be someone to get excited about.

| Myler is one of a number of players who are out of form at the minute, timing is all out and he looks poor.
Bridge, Carvell, Wood, M.Monaghan just for starters are in that same bracket.
Monaghan looks to be really struggling to me, whether it's the lack of pre-season because of the shoulder op' or there's still niggles or what, but there's something wrong with him and he's so vital to us that we're stuck in 3rd gear with the version of him that we've got presently (at best) when he really does drive our 4th/5th gears.

| Our forwards were poor, but we lacked leadership all over the field tonight. However, Myler for me isn't showing enough leadership out there, I think some people accept too little from Richie. Those saying even Johns would struggle should go back and look at Johns and see a proper half back, a player with a proper passing and kicking game -- a proper playmaker. I've supported Richie before, but you can't have the most pivotal player lacking in the most pivotal skills. What if Lee doesn't get a new contract this season? What if (God forbid) Lee gets an injury like Solomona? Who do we ask to step up to the plate and lead us around the park? O'Brien? Ratchford? For me, Richie really should be stepping up to the plate as a match winner and a team leader, it seems to me that he's still too reliant on Mona's, Briers and Hodgson to step up to the plate before him.

| Riley in defence saved a couple of scores tonite!
Not going to start Bagging Players because of one result, especially against some team that has trotted out at Old Trafford for the past five Seasons...

| For 60 minutes we kept up with Saints - it was the first 20 that did us. We need to stop getting off to a slow start.

| I've seen 2 young Wire halfbacks play in the past few weeks and the better one is playing at Widnes from what i've seen. I thought O'Brien had a real alround game and looked like a 'proper' halfback that can get you round the field.
I can't help feel watching Myler that he needs to be rid of the shackles of playing halfback and give him a Rob Burrow style role off the bench playing at hooker. His support game around the middle of the field would be exceptional.

| When will everyone start looking at other players on the pitch?? Ritchie is a young lad with years ahead of him but everyone expects him to be a leader now. Our pack has so much experience in it but no-one is taking the lead at the minute. The experienced players have to be accountable for games as well as the young ones!

Sounds about right. His defence has improved over and above what Salford's view was when we bought him but for me he isn't a half back. He should be running at defences and wanting the ball> Seems too happy to pass it on and thinks he's done his lot. He's no Sean Long

| Smith has a problem with Myler. I mean imagine advocating a £200K spend on a transfer and god knows what wages for a player who has not yet lived up to his billing and then disrupts camp morale. Having said that I quite like him but as other posters have said I'd want a lot more from a halfback.

| Ive never rated Myler and never will, even though he plays with a number 7 on his back i still see him as a poor mans early version of Danny McGuire.
I don't buy into this theory either that your scrum half is only as good as the pack he's playing behind, ive seen some of the best scrum halves in the world drag their team to victory with a piece of magic/individual brilliance when their team and pack have been 2nd best.

| It was the decision making for me. Silly passes, forcing the blind side when it wasnt on, every step he did seemed to be back into the ruck. I have been disappointed for a few weeks with Mylers attack.

Disrupt it and alienate half of them pre-season? His defence has improved and I have a soft spot for him him but he is not justifying his wedge, not by a long chalk. Great at backing up and has improved in goal line defence and saved a few tries. But he wasn't the reason we lost. Morley, Wood and Carvel failed to deliver - again.
