| We need to start solidly in defence. People have spent all year writing them off but they answered back with a typically dominant Saints performance last week. I think they have a little more threat than Wigan with the ball and if we go turning over possession cheaply, they could just about blow us off the park like they did Leeds.
The first couple of sets in defence and attack will give me a good indication of how the game may unfold. Sounds ridiculous but if we hit them hard and suffocate them then the signs are good. If we invite them to run, I'll be nervous.
This is a great oppurtunity to put in our best performance of the season to date, that I do know!

| After no Super League on Australian TV so far this season it makes a re-appearance tomorrow on Pay TV Eurosport Channel with the Warrington v St Helens match at 6 am. Two matches a week will be shown from this weekend onwards which will be appreciated by all the fans out here.

| Missing tonight's game due to 'romantic weekend' booked by missus! Anymore stunts like not consulting fixture list in future might result in an 'ex' tag ha ha. Don't think they will be showing much RL in Finland.
I expect to miss a cracker of a game, Saints will be up for it after demolishing Leeds last week but at least TS and the boys shouldn't be taken by surprise and a percieved lack of Saints form, or capability.
Got to agree with ISDBI we need to look after the ball a lot better, cut out handling errors and pens. I don't know how we were still in last weeks' game, first half especially. Come on Wire

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| As I said on the Wigan board I think you'll win quite confortably, even without Westwood your pack will dominate what looks to be a very average Saints backrow and Monaghan and Briers will run the show off the back of it, you will have to be very much below par and Saints red hot if they are to beat you.

| Much depends on how we handle Roby. If our marker defence is effective, we should be OK. If not, then the sadly all too familiar sight of Saints getting on a roll may beckon. Should be a cracking game anyway. And my nerves have only just settled down after last Friday night!

Unless Soliola is in at centre the backrow is likely to be Puletua, Soliola and Wilkin. Probably a bit better than average I would argue

| Close game as players will be nervous, big crowd, fri day night sky game etc.
If we defend well i think we will win, but either way it'll be close

I never said they were average players, but they have played like average players from what I have seen this season. The comment was more aimed at Perry and Laffranchi that seem to have been non existant until the Leeds game, I should have said forwards, rather than backrow.

Both were excellent last week. You should have said front row, but then that would have been stupid because of how awesome James Roby is. You would be better saying "I'm scared to death that Saints are 'back' and wish for only one local rival to be better than Wigan instead of 2, so I hope for a big Wire win".

Most of the team have been pretty average so it's a fair comment. Definitely agree that Wire will win but don't think it will be as comfortable as you predict. Saints squad is still full of decent players that have performed at the very top of super league for years. There's not much inexperience in our 17 now so I expect some good performances over the next few weeks
Even with that it's a narrow Warrington win for me

Which is what I said, with exception to last week both have been slated by the Saints fans all season.I have said all season I think you'll win the derby and "turn your season around" I wouldn't go as far as saying "scared to death" though, There's still a big dark gaping hole for a trophy cabinet in your stadium

Certainly isn't. Our continued dominance of the Karalius Cup shows we are still a successful club.
