| Gregory with the band round his head, even the crusties wouldn't argue with that.

| Surely if they decide to make this statue of Ellery Hanley - probably the greatest British rugby player of either code - you guys won't be trying to make out he only got chosen because he played for Wigan....?

Yep he was crap. Would have won nothing if he played for Warrington.

If thats what you want our sport to been represented by at the national stadium thank god your not in charge'"

Incorrect he would have won the Premiership, Lancashire Cup and Regal Trophy.
And we would have won the league in 1994....Hanley would have overruled Russell Smith's decision to penalise Cullen for going in with his knees.

| Picking a guy who missed a sitter to lose a final all though iconic is very small time, in fact being a Wire i'm fed up of the gallant loser tag so there's no way i'd want RL's Wembley representative being a 'loser'. I'm sure his team mates were made up he won Lance Todd, i'm sure the fans took solace driving up the m1 that he won Lance Todd, i like your posts usually biscuit but you're talking out your rear on this mate sorry.

It's not Shaun Edwards fault that the RFL were so bloody stupid not to employ him in a coaches role is it?
He's still the most decorated man in RL, and the sooner he gets back here the better.
