| A sed up Gleeson would do a better job at centre than what they planned cuurently.
Ben Kavanagh
Paddy Flynn

Dave Allen
Thomas Coyle
Kurt Haggerty
Tom Gilmore

Although, I bet Ben Cross could do a brilliant job there if needed.

| I can just see it now:
"This is nothing less than a sensational capture. This is a clear signal that we want to break into the top eight as a legitimate force. Martin Gleeson is still a real threat the world over and is one of the few players the Australian national team fear in terms of dynamic backs from these shores. We aim to provide him with the neccessary structure at Widnes to allow him to achieve his objective of getting back in to the England squad for the upcoming World Cup tournament." Cullen also refused to rule out signing Michael Wainwright, Henry Fa'afili and Warren Stevens.

Yes because Gleeson helped them to become Super League champions.
This year since Gleeson left, Wigan have not looked like the same force they were a year ago.

There's only 2 people in this world who'd stick up for Martin Gleeson as much as you do, one is his mother and the other...
You are Sean Long and I claim my £5

| You know if he was open and honest and written a book about his highs and lows in and out of Rugby League it would be a fantastic Read and then perhaps peoples judgement of his character and of him as a person would perhaps change overall..

| I think any club at any level is taking on more that its worth in signing him, but i do think he'll have a few clubs ringing and having a chat, Widnes, Salford(though Parish may wanna steer clear of this type of signing), Wakey, maybe Quins would all at least have a chat i would assume

| I really hope im wrong but i think we may have another terry newton on our hands, if hes not at the end of his career now his days are surely numbered and to say he's not cut out to survive outside the game is an understatement
Before anyone slates me for disrespecting Newton I wasnt comparing how the two of them lived their lives or who they are/were as people just that they may well share the same tragic end

| i'd be surprised to see him go anywhere, there seems to be a lot more issues in his life than rugby league, hope he sorts himself out but feel it's for the best if he retires now.

The problem is I guess he doesn't have the money to retire

| As usual the forum is full of speculation about the state of someone's health from people that know nothing.
Just like a few weeks ago Morley would never play again because his vision was permanently damaged.
