intent is irrelevant, players have been picking up bans for lazy/clumsy high tackles for quite some time now and I don't see any reason why Carvell won't get a minimum 1 match ban for it. If he doesn't, then he'll be extremely fortunate.

why didn't Ganson do anything about it on the pitch then?..he had clear line of sight...if the challenge was so bad surely he should have been sent off.

Don't ask me mate, I'm only basing my expectations of a ban on the precedent set by the disciplinary for the past couple of years. If he's not called to the disciplinary, I'll be relieved. If he is called to it, I won't be surprised.

Hopefully Sol passes the head test and Woody is back,
the rest i think will definitely miss the next game.

Makes sense to take it easy with that one as even though the game is a big one there's more important battles to come.

I've just watched the match back, Carvell's tackle looked a little late and very lazy. I wouldn't be surprised if he just received a caution, after all he threw his hands up and fully acknowledged his wrong doing.

Very difficult to predict the disciplinary panel. Could be a fine, could be a 1 match ban.

To be fair to Carvell, he acknowledged it was a high shot but with no malice in it.

Carvell won't be banned for that and surely Woody and Moz will be back. Biggest doubt will be Solomona. Is there any chance that Westwood might be able to play again this season?

The match agianst Hudds will be difficult. We always struggle against them because (I reckon) they've the biggest pack in SL.

We will definately need Moz back (as long as there's no danger to his health). I spoke to him last night and he said he thought he'd be back next week.

Solo was not in a good state - even at 10.30pm when they came out to get on the bus. It was 'only' concussion. No mention of the leg - just wouldn't do what they were told becasue of the bang to the head....

Don't like the idea of Woody rushing back using injections - so I rate him 50/50.
Carvell .... looked bad at the match unfortunately, not seen Sky - I think a 1 match ban is quite likely.
Bridge said he'd just got a knock to the knee area, but it really didn't look too good. It was too early to say if there was any serious damage.
Monas was suffering a lot of bumps and bruises, but should be OK.

With Moz playing we'll be OK.
Without him, we have a massive problem.

1 match most likely......Not malicious, but still a pretty rotten tackle, technique wise.....His remorse was probably an acknowledgement of how poor a tackle it was.
