| Quote: The Analyst "Ulsterwire, you're right, they do have to clear it with the club. Paul and Mick have said that they have been very supportive and have helped with getting the best people around them to support them - accountants, graphic designers etc.
I know our players are quite good at self regulating as well. I am aware that players discuss it between themselves and would tell individuals if they felt that it was effecting the ultimate goal - SL!'"
Good to hear they are doing well. I follow them both on Twitter and heard it about it through there. What's equally good is the support of the club with this. The club is contributing to the welfare of it's players after they retire even though they aren't their responsibility.
Yet another way we show we do things right both on and off the field.

| Few years back Mark Hilton gained his relevant degrees and was teaching Maths at a high school in Warrington. As far as I know he still does.
Boots'n'All did a feature recently about SL clubs now putting more time and effort into educating their players and giving them opportunities that will give them a career beyond RL. Ours is a brutal sport and those like Morley who have very long careers are few. It's good that the clubs are taking responsibilty for the players that give them so much. I don't think there's anything wrong with the players have a side-career if it means they have something to move on to once the playing days are over.

| I think Blythe looks like he'd work in telesales.
Harrison would work somewhere that sells part worn tyres, he'd constantly have overalls on but with just one shoulder on them. I'd like to think should you ask for him, he'd be on a skateboard underneath a '97 Vectra.

He was indeed, when he first started I was in one of his "training classes". A very surreal experience. Can't remember anyone talking out of turn that's for sure!
As far as I know he is still teaching and working his way up that ladder.

He is still teaching maths at Gt Sankey, iirc he taught the Evans twins and Gaz O'Brien whilst they attended GS.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| I can imagine Sam working in Sainsburys - probably on the deli counter. Cheeky chappy - good at his job but hated in some quarters. Rumours have been going around for months that he has been seeing Sheila off the checkouts. Now, Sheila is 40 but still has a glint in the eyes - especially for the younger man eh Sam! Sam and Shiela's fling hasn't impressed Candice however. Candice (works on the Information Desk) has always had a soft spot for Sam and one day hopes they'll get together. BUT, to complicate matters, Sam's brother Joel (Lurch like figure who works in the car park) has a crush on Candice!!!! Where will this end?

| I'm not one to spread rumours, but when i knelt down to pray to God last night I could have sworn the voice that answered back was Tony Smiths.

Joel's on his last warning. He keeps on losing the trollies. He wants to be a bramble picker, next. His idol is Mickey from The League of Gentleman ("GET DOWN, Monkeyman"icon_wink.gif

That's exactly what Joel looks like, a trolley collector.
Graham looks like he'd work for Stobbart, defo a lorry driver. Maybe he'd have a 'curtain sider' and he'd collect palletts for a living, maybe making a few quid on the snide.
