| Is there a limit to the amount of times there can be 'u mad' or sour grapes or babies crying pics posted in response to these desperate wigan fans claiming evertthing under the sun? They're more pathetic than sam tomkins!
'Oh not morely was picking on finch, who, stupidly, was trying to flatten him' 'wire's tactics were house yeatsetday, but ignore the eye gouging and the punching from several players on the wigan team.' Grow up! The way it is looking wigan should be without lima and hock for crusaders and quite possibly sam for that errant boot!

I thought it was a penalty if a player goes in with his feet, regardless if its involved in a try scored or just in general play?

| IICR didn't Briers do it on Keith Senior a few years ago, was he banned? Doubt it.
The difference between the 2 being Briers went to kick the ball out of his hands and Tomkins went to place his boot between whitewash and ball.

A bit like one of our players nearly was yesterday. Wigan's spoiling tactics were severely exposed yesterday and how you can defend them is beyond a joke.

When i say nothing incident, i mean not one to start going on about Vomkins blah blah blah, it's not as if he drove his foot in to Clarkes head

I believe you can find facetious under 'f' in the dictionary.

How I can defend them? In the same way you Dire fans defend the Morley trip and 99 pens in a row, Matt King punchin Lima and Anderson grapple tackle.
Our spoiling tactics? Just a brain fart from a hot head, nobody was hurt so leave it.
If he would have damaged Harrisons vision so that he missed a few games then a lengthy ban would ensue, if Harrison was blinded then Hock would be banned for life. Harrison is fine so I can't see anything past a 1 or 2 match ban max.

| Firstly, thank you for an entertaining game yesterday. Red Hall will be packed this week - Tony Smith plus all seventeen Wolves players from yesterday will be there on a charge for not reading the script and letting Wigan have it all their own way. tut tut...
I bet Matt King was grateful for his head of hair on 68 minutes and 45 seconds - look where O'Loughlin's knee went! Usual sly third man into the tackle merchant. It was said in commentary that the Wigan assistant coach went into the refs dressing room at half time asking how they could improve their penalty count - personally I though Silverwood was very very lenient on Wigan particularly at the play of the ball. Then again, nothing new there eh??? Hock totally lost it yesterday, although when he made that break in the second half I was willing Eddie to say "and there goes Hock making a dash for the line!" or would that be childish??
Well done again on yesterday's performance but remain focussed for next week.

Firstly you don't remember correctly the Briers/Senior incident, you don't remember if he was punished for it or not either. You've no basis to offer an opinion then.
"Harrison is fine so 1-2 game match ban" also shows an ignorance of the rules. Gauging is a high grade offence or 4-8 matches. Adding the punch etc is punishable by at least 8 games.
For the Wigan supporters who are open enough and have the plumbs to admit this was disgraceful then you have a degree of respect from all true RL fans. trying to defend it by the "Oh well you did this and you did that" is pitiful. Grow up and try to salvage some dignity.
What's next "Harrison should be banned for trying to rake Hocks fingernails out with his eyelids?"

| From memory, the Briers/Senior incident was dealt with at the time by the referee and no further action was taken.

| Against Bradford Raynor tried to knock out the ball got it wrong flattened Tomkins three game ban.... Had Tomkins kicked Clarkes head I would have expected the same but in this case the RFL will NFA it. Hock will get around 4/5 matches should get same as the Bradford guy got for biting as its a similar cowardly offence.
As a neutral i reckon 8 players will get cited... 4 will go before the beaks and four will get NFA or a caution.....

| The shame about the Tomkins kick was that it halted Clarke's celebrations, he was going to raise the roof, he was up, fists pumping - ready to give it a Ketsbaia, only for a brawl to break out involving Briers & Tomkins.
I thought Clarke was good yesterday.
