I'm pretty sure not many Warrington fans share the same view of Ron or jdrocket because it just goes to show what lack of RL knowledge they have. I dont understand how they can't see what a special type of player England have in Sam Tomkins. For years we have been able to match Australia and New Zealand in the forwards but have lacked quality in the backs. A player like Sam comes along and it's "if we dont beat Australia and New Zealand he's rubbish." I have no doubt behind a good pack going into the 4 Nations we will see just what a good player he is.

We havent been able to match Australia and New Zealand for years so why if we don't this year would it be all Sam's fault. I'm more worried about McNamara being in charge than anything else.

Sam Tomkins is quality and irrespective of who he plays for, it's great to watch him in Super League!

I was really surprised watching the game, all the Wigan fans on here keep telling me we're daft as a brush for racking up big scores on plop sides, the Wigan wayaka the 'correct way' is to just do enough, conserve the energy, then a week before the final they're running tries from everywhere.

He's only had one go at international rugby. He is very, very good. To say he's in the top 30 in Super League is stupid. He's in the top 5 without doubt. Why don't you just admit it? I said he was a very good SL player, I agree he would walk into our team when Hodgson retires, but I don't agree he is one of the best RL players in the world.... don't buy into the sky hype, its like when they try to make out Rooney is as good as Messi or Ronaldo.

When has he had the chances to perform against the best players in the world? He get's 2 games at the end of a regular season against two far more superior coached sides whereas we are coached by McNamara. Thats a great indication!

No one has said yet that he is the best RL player in the world, but on the evidence we have seen over his short career of 2 full seasons (including 1 at FB), its fair to say he is something special and if he carries on the way he has been progressing, there should be no reason why he won't be one of the best and most definitely one of the best Rugby League players Wigan has seen.

Be suprised if he put his undies on the right way this morning.
