Scott Grix would actually been an ideal candidate to fill Brett's boots in 2013. British, can kick goals and has a decent set of hands.

Scott has played for warrington before so we had the grix brothers too, and imo scott would be a great addition to our squad with simon.

Ben and Liam Harrison. Phil and Paul Ford - classic.
We had Austrailian brothers in the late 80's who came over played a few A team games together. Looked totally disinterested. The younger one had one 1st team appearance off the bench, the elder went back to Aus and scored the winning try in the grand final the following year for Canberra. Bizarre. It think their name was Jackson (but not Bob). Mark was one, Steve the other?

He's not upto the standard we need.

Only when you watch Hodgson every week, do you realise just how classy he is, similar to the Briers thing, you just wish he was 27. He seems to glide into the line, awesome.

I'm happy with Ratchford there.

I think Ratchford will be filling the 6 position as to when Briers retires.

Scott Grix may not be quite there yet, but it's actually his first season in settled position from what I remember. If he continues to develop there is no reason why he shouldn't be an option.

Hodgson as good as he is, worries me slightly due to his age and the occasional knock he gets far more than often. Last week he was poor, but he put things right for this week.

Yes, I vaguely remember this. Most odd.

There were 2 brothers that came from South Africa in the late 80's early 90's. They both played for the "A" team for a few games but their names I forget.

I once saw a South African turn out for the A team on a Friday night. His name, though, was A.N. Other.

Cheers for that Worthing Wire. After watching him play on Friday nights with our A team you would never have thought he could win a grand final and play SOO for the Maroons. Our teenage forwards looked head and shoulders better than him.

Agree with you supreme that Scott is not up to the standard we want. In the games Ive watched I've not been impressed, think he is over rated
