Wigan were certainly interested, Leeds will be very disappointed as he has been playing in their U16's this year.
However Leeds have signed a very good second row forward Jordan Baldwinson who looks an excellent prospect.

Remember hearing about Patton when he was about 10 years old, maybe slightly older. Seems to have had a good reputation through his service area/scholarship years.

This age group that's currently turning pro. A few years back, I spoken to one of the lads who played on the team and he said the best player for Warrington's team was a hooker from Oldham (I think). Anyone heard of him since?

Played with Lewis Charnock and few others at Saints and Wigan now.

That's who I heard of him from. When Charnock first started at Warrington, Patton was the one he raved about as being the best on the team. Always said he was small though.

Zak's a mini beast from Yorkshire and well known to the top clubs so I hope will have got him signed.

He's played for England recently along with a few other who were in our under 16s programme hopefully they are in the other 5 who have signed.

I don't like George Ford being lost to RL either. I was told about him by a then Wire scout about nine years ago (it was Kevin Browns first game at academy level for Wigan)

His words "I've just seen the most switched on kid I've ever seen" That was George Ford he was talking about who must have been about nine years old at the time.

You remember things like that, and I've always kept look out for him.
