Very good interview. I honestly didnt expect Monas#2 to replace Hicks so admirably, despite knowing how good he was. Hicks' strike rate was phenomenal, but Joel is following a similar pattern.

Agreed, you just haven't noticed the Hicks departure have you. We've done really well that that right wing position in recent time, the last 3 have all been a steady improvement Fa'afilli > Hicks > Monas.

Hopefully Monas will also have the Hicks trait of big plays in big games, like Semi v Wigan, Final hat-trick etc.

You haven't noticed his departure I agree 100%. It was watching the Wembley final yesterday which prompted the old memory. That hat-trick was as good as any and worth Lance Todd had Briers not put in a classy display. You'd have thought the loss of a winger of Hicks' ability would be devastating really. But hats off to Monas, what a job he's doing!

It is epic, imagine how funny I found it when it popped up in a break on ITV between all those slick multi-million pound adverts.

Life's too short mate and it was all very much tongue in cheek - my teenage daughters have disowned me - but apparently for some bizarre reason the advert worked really well - I say you buy one you get one FREE!
Town centre was packed last Saturday and nearly everyone on the planet has seen the advert somewhere whether on TV or the web!
It is not the first time I have been compared to Alan Partridge and probably not the last - and a did have my own radio show for two years you know!

Whoever the controller of your radio show was should recommission it.
You definitely deserve a new series, it would be a massive hit.
