| He's come on. I just don't see him as a starting palyer now or in the near future (which I suppose he doesen't have to be.) I would like to see him turn into a Lee Gilmour/Paul Johnson type second row/centre.

What he is now is a very decent SL player, who can cover numerous positions on a relatively low wage and who works his socks off.
I like the balance & depth that he adds to the squad.'"
very true....but if his contract is up at the end of this season, he will want to be more than this, and want wages that go with it. i would like him to staty, but i think he will go to a club with room under the cap who can play him every week in the . i think there could be quite a long queue for his sig

If King goes home that brings him a place closer to regular game time, same if Riley is given the push. If he's ambitous, he'll stay, assuming the gulf in money isn't vast.
Smith likes him, he's certainly ahead of Mitchell & McCarthy so he might give him some of their money, and Riley's.

When everybody is back fit we could let him play at Saints on loan. Give them a boost to secure a playoff spot?

| I'll stick my neck out here and announce that I don't particularly rate Matty Blythe.
Average centre / poor forward. SL quality squad player who would struggle to make an impact at a non top 4 club. If King goes, and he's the replacement I will be bitterly dissapointed.
There, I've said it. He'll probably go on to play in the NRL now.

| I'll back you up on that.
Blythe can only be a back up centre and is not certainly not good enough for second row.

I kinda of agree with this, don't think he's a bad utility player but wouldn't have him 1st choice.

| poor second row. Always been impressed with him at centre. Certainly good enough for Wire there. I don't know in what capacity but I like him none the less.
