50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Or, as I like to call it
'Hello, and welcome to another hour of me patronising a member of the Rugby League fraternity'.
In all seriousness, the interview he did with Newton was very difficult TV. I genuinely think he altered his style after that which is understandable really.

58058_1310484944.jpg Love my Rugby League.
The game will survive in North Wales. Too much work and effort has been put in, to let it go to waste. We have an appetite for this sport and we'll make it work.
You're likely to see me in a Crusaders shirt, in a Warrington game or a Catalans game.

| Jon Wells, Barrie McDermott and Terry O'Connor are the only decent blokes associated with Sky. I dispise Phil Clark. How can you possibly have someone so biased as a tv presenter ? A joke ! All he talks about is the bloody pie-eaters anyway. Brian Carney too. He just goes around s**t stiring for news. Wallace and Grommit aren't far behind either. They're just clueless.

| Quote: MrF "Q1
Eddie - isn't it great what Tony Smith is giving back to the world of rugby league ??
Knob - he isn't the only one Eddie, others do it, some not as much as others
Q2
Eddie - isn't it great that Tony Smith paid his own fare to come to England and has laid foundations at Huddersfield, Leeds and Warrington ??
Knob - Wouldn't it be great if in 10 years time someone was on that course and becomes a successful Warrington coach
What an absolute dick - answer the question and admit that Tony Smith is doing a very decent job and has done since he aarrived in the UK
How could you tell what hemmings was saying? His nose is so far up Tony Smith's ar5e I am surprised he can speak at all.
Smith is a very capable coach. However since he arrived in the UK he also coached a team to relegation, coached a team to a challenge cup humiliation and coached a dire World Cup performance by England it was embarrassing(we did manage to beat PNG). On recognising that he woud not get a head coaches job in Oz he became British!
While he is a very capable coach lets not join hemmings in his campaign to make Smith a saint

Are you on a football forum as well telling folk Sir Alex is naff as he didn't get out of the Group Stages of the CL league one season and allowed Chelsea to win the league back to back. Eh, they were a joke in the World Club Challenge too.

| Quote: Istilldontbelieveit "I'm going to go against the majority here and say that I find Clarke easy to listen to. In comparison to any other Rugby League 'brain' in the Sky Sports set up, Clarke is light years ahead with his understanding and philosophies of our sport.
He's not bias towards anyone either. Even Wigan. As much as most people have somehow drawn that conclusion.
If there is any bias in Sky Sports coverage of RL, it's that of Eddie Hemmings towards our very own Wire! Don't get me wrong, its nice to hear a pundit praise your own team, but sometimes he may aswell put a Wire shirt on during commentary. Its that blatant.'"
I think the people on here who are abusing Phil do not know the man.
I see Phil every Sunday at church and he talks avidley about all teams in super league in a very mutually unbiased way and shows respect and admiration for all in the sport.
He often refers to individuals from accross the whole spectrum of SL and offers an insight into skill and capability of each player in a way that the mere mortals that are tearing him a new jacksy would never comprehend on here.
Philip sees things in our sport that are invisible to the biased eye in RL until that biased eye has rewound and replayed several times only to realise they would never recognised nor dreamt was possible unless pointed out to them by him.
I would also like to add that he is the most generous donater to the church.
I like his tailor too dont you think he dresses splendid.
