| I won a competition around 1992/3 for a Midweek game vs Featherstone with a meet the players bit thrown in etc. I was 10, dont remember the score and wasnt interested in the game either. Sat at the back of the Bevan Stand. Remeber the smell of winter green in the changing room though!
A few years later. I was given 2 free school tickets. I think in 1995 or 6. Both Friday night games. We lost both games. One was vs Workington and we lost by a point (i seem to remember the lights dying too). The other was against Fax and we lost again. I went for the banter with mates at the time, but it quickly became an obsession!

| Went with 2 Primary School friends in 1966 to a game in the RL Cup game v Cas. Hooked straightaway. Left home in Sept 1974 to go to Teesside Poly, met a woman, got married in 1978 and never really came home to live again. I've done a lot of miles and spent a lot of money over the years watching the Wire, every penny worth it.

| Was a football lad growing up but when I left the army and returned to Warrington & my son going to school in the area, it was all he went on about. I took him along to the HJ under Cullen and never looked back. P.S. What's football?

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| I was taken by my Dad when I was 9. I've done my bit to improve crowds - wife now attends as does father in law. They're Mancunians but now follow Warrington. My imminent first born, also a Mancunian when he/she arrives, will also be given an opportunity to watch us play. The lucky thing.

| I grew up watching a bit of RL, but pretty much all of it was on the TV as my dad's still one of those people who hates going to games because you can see better on the telly. It wasn't until a friend of mine at school took me to a match at Wilderspool in 1999 or 2000 that I started supporting Warrington. To be honest, given some of the performances I saw in those first couple of years, I'm amazed I stuck with it.

| My Dad took me from the age of 10 to Warrington v Australia I think it was 1967 and I also think we beat them or run them very close. The day was just so good I was hooked and with living in Lymm I had to get a bus back and two to get there not one of my school mates watched Rugby League at the time but there was four or five of us nuts went most weeks.
But six years later most of my old school mates where Wire supporters and I still see one or two of them now at the HJ once it gets you its in you it there for life.

| Exploring sport with my dad, had seen Man U soccer v Blackpool, Belle Vue Rangers Speedway v Cradley Heath, Wire v Whitehaven, all in 1968. Only stuck with one of them, still a Wire after all these years ( although Ovi Fundin was a cool rider for the Rangers ).

| A mate persuaded me to go along with him sometime in the 80's. Couldn't tell you exactly when or what game (I remember very little from the past, so little that it's somewhat worrying but anyways...) but it was more because he was curious and didn't want to go alone.
From that day I went to most games home and away until I moved down south when I had to start picking and choosing. Moved back in the late 90's and have been a season ticket holder since the move to the HJ.
I have a glory hunting stepson who's a lapsed season ticket holder and comes along occasionally (four of his last six games have been semis or finals - the two SL games, Hull and Salford this season, we lost) and a son who has been a couple of times and may well be a season ticket holder from next season.

| Some of my earliest memories of childhood are of me sat with my dad underneath Snookers on Sunday afternoon in the middle of winter. I don't remember the actual first game but I do remember players booting rugby balls into the new stand. The small of winter green combined with cigarette smoke, the voice of the announcer coming through the PA system, eating sweets bought from the newsagents on the causeway are all memories that will stay with me forever. I was probably about 10 years old before I realised that you had to pay to get in. Until then I just thought that you had to go to the gate at the far end of the Snookers complex and knock on the gate and they let you in. The only sport in our house was rugby and cricket and the only reason football got a look in because it was my job to write down the numbers of the score draws just before tea time on a Saturday to see if we had won the pools. Good times and not a care in the world.
