How do you not know that everybody isn't already doing it, and you're not joining in ?

| If they do it at wendyball then that's a very good reason for us not to do it at a real sport.

Having seen it today at the City game, I must say it looks the most cringe-worthy thing since the awful Mexican Wave.....To be honest, only what you would expect from a bunch of ill-bred Mancunians.

| Embarrassing and cringeworthy. City themselves thought the same when they first saw it. European teams have been doing this sort of thing for years. Funny how City have only just noticed. It can work well in Eastern Europe or South America where fans really are fanatical. It's probably also accompanied by a song with meaning. The clubs fight and struggle throughout the years. What do the city fans do. Get giddy that they're going to do something. Sing let's all do the poznan for 20 seconds and then all laugh and pat themselves on the backs about how great they are. Turning their back on the team is apt for that bunch though
File under waving inflatable bananas, sporting a ben sherman and a moustache and running down chester road/wembley way when you've realised your munich chant hasn't gone down well with the rags.

Not a City fan then?
I agree with the majority of posters here - one of the most cringeworthy things to happen in sporting stadia ever!
