No, too expensive for a friendly, Tony Smith will stay at home to save money.

| I wonder where the link comes in with Souths? Then again, the same could be said about Leeds. The obvious one would be Wigan.

He will deserve it if he contributes to a winning performance.
Clearly he has never done this in the past and thus has never deserved to be in a final, i suspect that the same scenario will occur tomorrow.:30555.jpg |

Russell better not be too presumptuous over who will be in the line up....it is a pre season friendly after all.
Whats the betting his twitter after the game will be "$25 to watch two junior grade sides....what a bloody rort mate"

I was told once that Simon Moran and Russell Crowe were big mates.
That's where the red and green Wire jersey originated apparently.

Don't be bloody daft there's no tunnel to Australia, i'll commission a boat for the day, should be no problem, there's not much traffic on the water.

I seem to recall Wire having a red and green change strip back in the late 90s.

24554.jpg The Wire - It's Time To Believe
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will.
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with the twists and turns,
AS everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up through the pace seems slow.
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worse,
that you must not quit.

SOUTH SYDNEY are set to host ambitious Super League club Warrington in a 2012 pre-season match at Coffs Harbour.
Rabbitohs chief executive Shane Richardson is in Britain for talks with incoming coach Michael Maguire about his and the club's plans for next year and beyond.
Richardson is also finalising negotiations for Warrington's trip to Australia and on Monday attended the Wolves' clash with Hull FC as guest of the club's entrepreneurial owner, English rock promoter Simon Moran.
But Rabbitohs co-owner Russell Crowe yesterday pre-empted an official announcement when he tweeted: ''It looks pretty close, ESL team Warrington Wolves v South Sydney at Coffs Harbour in a trial 2012, that includes the legend Adrian Morley.''
Morley, who became an NRL cult figure and paved the way for English forwards Sam Burgess and Gareth Ellis to join Australian clubs during his six seasons with Sydney Roosters between 2001 and 2006, is captain of a Warrington team that includes Brett Hodgson, Joel and Michael Monaghan, Matt King, David Solomona and Louis Anderson.
Richardson told the Herald he wasn't looking to sign any players in England, although Wigan pair Brett Finch and Ryan Hoffman have been linked with a return to the NRL with Maguire. Hoffman is understood to have a deal in place to return to Melbourne next season, while Finch has another year to run on his contract with Wigan.
However, he may become an option for the Rabbitohs if halfback Chris Sandow accepts an offer to play elsewhere next season.
Richardson said Souths were still hopeful of retaining Sandow but it is unlikely the club can match the deal Parramatta is believed to have tabled for him.
Sandow has also been linked with Newcastle and Brisbane, but Broncos officials deny they are chasing him to play halfback to allow Peter Wallace to move to five-eighth when Darren Lockyer retires at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Sam Burgess joins props Scott Geddes and Luke Stuart (season-ending knee injuries) and back-rower Ben Lowe (foot) on the sidelines for Friday night's match against Cronulla.

We once won 15–12 against the first team, a team of average Aussies/Kiwis and a Bradford forward don't worry us

Like you got your bottoms handed to you by the Dragons at your precious piedome?
It's gonna take some serious cash saving but I'd be up for it with the Bunnies being my preferred NRL team!
As someone else mentioned, it would be a good warm up for the WCC for us!

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

I hope you forgive me when I say that I hope that you are fuming about this because it will mean we've secured our first championship since the 50s. Fingers crossed.
