| Whoever wrote started this is stupid , why would we want Tony Smith out!! I hate to admit it but the Wigan fan is right. He has transformed our team into something we can be proud of. Tony Smith said that he would turn is into a dominant force in 3years , so far in 2 years he has won the challenge cup twice.
Our outstanding performance and result at Wigan last week counts for nothing now we lost today. We put all our effort into the game last week , then this week our forwards were knackered and some players didnt even manage to start ( Ben Westwood and Ben Harrison ) At one point in the game we had Jon Clarke at loose forward and Mike Cooper and Simon Grix in second row. I'm sorry but you are never going to win a game with Jon Clarke in loose forward, for a hooker is passing is awful.
I thought Lee Briers had a poor game , both with ball in hand and kicking. When Michael Monas went off the team just stopped playing. We are very dangerous when we set up with Richard Myler ( who shouldnt be taking crititism for their last try ) at 1st , then Lee Briers on second phase and Brett Hodgson linking in around the back, we only managed to set up one play where we did this, and Joel scored.

another reason i was shocked at the loss, because he tends to be a big player for them, maybe this injury early on caused les cats to raise their game?

| YOu all may disagree, but i think this has brought us back down to earth with a bang (and a chuffing big one at that!)
It may be the wake up call that was needed, that we cant take teams for granted, and also the fact that Clarke needs to sod off to Widnes and fast

| Leaving Westwood out was a massive mistake. Face it we underestimated the opposition, Westwood said before the game in the East Stand that we had the team to beat Catalans without the rested players like him and Harrison, seems like over confidence to me.

| Been reading the forum for ages but very rarely post as i can't be bothered joining in with, or arguing against, some of the idiotic things that get discussed on here, and other, boards.
I have been watching Warrington since 1976 ( the 1975 final at Wembley being my first ever match ) and I believe that this current squad of players is head & shoulders above anything I have seen in that time. Sure they will have off days like Sunday but we have never enjoyed such a prolonged period of watching quality rugby, along with silverware, coupled with the absolute certainty in my opinion that this team will get us to to the Grand Final in the next couple of years. The future is bright my friends and, despite hiccups like this week, I would much rather be a Wire at the moment with all the expectation rather than Saints / Leeds / Bradford where you feel perhaps the better years may be behind them or other pretenders like Hull KR / Huddersfield / Castleford etc where you can't help thinking the good form may be a flash in the pan. I make no apologies for my Primrose & Blue tinted spectacles.
Enjoy the season people I am sure it will end in glory either at Wembley again or OT.

No, we did have the team to beat Catalans without the rested players. Its just a shame that they all had a bad day at the same time so we didnt.

| c'mon, lets get real on this one........
played 8, won 6.......not a bad statistic including three "big team" scalps
sure we were all (including myself) expecting a walk-in-the-park against the lowly Catalans; but this is why Super League is exciting and unpredictable (and we all keep coming back for more)
the scenario we face at Warrington is that we automatically think we should win week-in and week-out now; the reality is that we will loose some our games and maybe to the unexpected opposition; so long as the effort is there............
would like to see a bounce-back on Friday; can see another roll-on coming after Hudds (Cru Cru Crusaders, Salford and Hull)
Keep The Faith 2011 ...............

| To be honest Smith let us down badly on Sunday and should be replaced with Shaun McRae once he returns to good health.
