Hardly, numpty. As I'd said earlier "come off it Sally, you might fool some people on here" etc
and in my first post, when I'd said "take the tongue out of your cheek" You should have read what I'd posted, before you started putting little kisses on Sally's bottom
I've seen far too many of Sally's posts on here, to take him TOO seriously.
Some posters need to realise, RU doesn't matter to us. We've allready had some people, wetting their beds over a lad that's played 5 professional games of RL, and his DEFINATE defection. We'll survive.

| I don't think he will go.
If he does, so what? As has been said, we did the same to them when they were playing for poops and giggles and we were pro.
Richards has done everything in League. Full DOT. If he wants to go to union or the NFL. Good luck to him. He defo deserves it.
He is older than most. I would fear if it was an undiscovered gem and people thought they were missing out. But didn't union do this alot in the nineties. Take old/ injured players from league as marquee signings in rah rah.

Has he played at Wembley? Even Chris Rileys been there done that, got the Back 2 Back winners T shirt and he's about half Richards' age.
I hope if he is to go to union that Richards gets a chance to realise his dream at Wembley this year. If anyone deserves it it's him.

couldn't of put it better myself
for years we took there player and brought them to league and we were loving it but now it has turned we don't like it it is called tough !!!!
all that will happen is the clubs buying then in a few years will end up where they are now no further on like some of our clubs that brought in loads of union players. playing second rate rugby with no money for years and befor you all start yes they have got some money now so we will see what they buy if they get to play propper rugby again !!!!!

You're right on both counts.
I don't know how much that will mean to him. If it does I hope he loses at Wembley this year. However, you could argue he has done MOST of everything in the sport.
It is unlikely that he will leave for Union but there is a chance.
He is old(ish)
Has he played Union before, do we know?
He will be on high (Wigan) wages.

| Quote: lefty goldblatt "...Thomas is a totally different case. Crusaders needed a marquee signing. Thomas (from what little I know of the 3 point code) had acheived virtually all that was capable to him. He had nothing to prove. He'd just come out of the closet, and (if you excuse the expression) wanted to keep his head down. He obviously wanted to stay in sport, but not get the attention. What better for him to do, than join a club with little support, in a sport that gets scant day-to-day coverage in the national media...'"
...and ends up getting a Hollywood movie made about him starring Mickey Rourke. And appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show. And getting mentioned everytime homophobia in sport is talked about. He's hardly been forgotten about!
