Too much a 'friendly giant' for me, isn't anywhere aggressive enough.
When he first burst on the scene at Bradford he was such a dangerous runner, scored some eye-catching tries and his potential seemed limitless but it seems his short unsuccessful stay in union as well as a few injury set-backs have severely knocked him and his confidence. I think he needs to do something drastic to reinvigorate his career, possibly take a leaf out of his brothers book and become a bit of an arrrsole, or he will probably end up in the national leagues this time next year. |

I got the feeling of Dr Jeckyl/Mr Hyde, with Kidwell. One game, he'd stroll round with his thumb up his Aris, the next, he'd be devastating, terrorising defences with his runs, and pretty good with ball in hand for offloading. Maybe Kidwell just wasn't coached properly at the time. After all, when he left us, he went on to get a bucketfull of NZ caps, and looked damned good in the NRL. Down to coaching? More than likely |
