Last time people were predicting an 'easy win' against The Giants they ended our season. There are easy games in SuperLeague - this isn't one of them.

Exactly, IF we win on Saturday it will be a major victory in terms of teams that we will play this season.

Should be a belter Wire winning by a try or two. Don't know about you guys but would much prefer the MM weekend at it's usual spot in May when weather is much warmer for fans to enjoy it more. Also feel teams won't be at there best being there first competitive run out. Don't think the standard of rugby will be as good as previous Magic weekends. Hope I'm wrong. Even so can't wait !!

Don't think this will be anything else but close. The Giants are a damn good side and are capable of beating anyone in SL. TS won't allow the players to be anything but respectful of anybody and the Gaints deserve our respect. No more than 8 points either way imo.

This game could easily go either way.

Prefer the roof to be closed, personally. I feel there is more of an atmosphere when everyone is closed in.

Hopefully Cudjoe will have another nightmare like he did in 2008 in Cardiff.

IIRC we were first game on that weekend also.

To be honest, with the roof shut, unless it's bitterly cold outside, inside it should be fairly comfortable! For me the Millennium Stadium is the best stadium in the UK bar none.
In terms of atmosphere, I've never felt anything like it when full. Not even OT on GF day or Wembley on CC day! (Obviously my best memory is at Wembley but I mean in terms of what the Stadia can offer)
Location of the ground is superb, 10 min walk from the very centre of the city. Cardiff is easy to get to... Getting around in a car in the centre is a nightmare mind you - simple solution though is don't drive in the centre.
I think it just looks magnificent, OK only Wembley is probably more overwhelming on approach.
Then the locals, the Welsh love their rugby. Granted they prefer the onion version, but previous MM's have highlighted the local interest in the event and sport. Great to get on with, good banter and the accent on a Welsh bird... Lush!!

Timing of the event I actually agree with. First competitive game of a new season will be a real leveller. As a spectacle, maybe the quality might be a little lower than through the season, but with the roof closed and a dry track, I don't think it will be too far off. The weather as mentioned above shouldn't make too much of a difference although I have to agree if it was toasty outside it would make things so much sweeter! (The roof shut in warm weather though is an absolute sweatbox! Trust me
I've experienced it!) And finally it's Valentines weekend - not the best time to have it but let's face it, RL and your club is your real true love!

Regarding our match... One or two tries will be the difference and the key player I reckon will be Brough - he doesn't turn up and we win, he plays to his potential and I think we'll struggle.
